The Textile Museum has been working with the 'museum in operation' concept since 2000. Contemporary artists and designers are employed to create a design carried out with the help of the museum's technical specialists.

2005 saw the opening of the TextielLab, the museum as a 'creative museum in operation'. Here are six techniques: weaving, knitting, printing, embroidery, lasering and tufting. The public can follow the entire process, from ideation to digitally converted designs, and from color proofs to finishing. Both historic and modern computer-controlled machines can be seen in operation. The museum also features an extensive library.

LTE 193 729 (in lease van European Locomotive Leasing) is met een sleep Chinese containers net vanaf Tilburg Industrie vertrokken. Biezenmortel, 27 april 2021.
De Tweety's van Rail Force One zullen dit jaar verdwijnen en vervangen worden door Vectron's van leasemaatschappij ELL.
Op 15 juni 2022 was de 189 205 met Gekkengraaf-shuttle 63129 onderweg naar de Maasvlakte. Bij Tilburg Reeshof kon kort na het verkassen vanaf de oost-zijde van het stationnetje de trein meegepakt worden. Helaas was er geen tijd om een beter standpunt in te nemen, wat bij de volgende foto's wel het geval is.

Omdat de schaduw meer in beeld kwam, stond ik hier wat dichter bij het spoor.
Strukton zou naar Acht rijden om daar zo de trein te kunnen driehoeken, wat de mogelijkheid bood voor een foto. Na Hedel werd koers gezet naar Tilburg.
In het landelijke gebied tussen Tilburg West en Reeshof passeert Strukton 1824 met de 302282 en een werktrein als trein 55144 van Acht naar Roosendaal.

Het is Valentijnsdag 2021 als de 403 van Railport Brabant een door PKP Cargo aangebrachte containertrein de terminal op trekt.
Op 29 maart 2021 is de Strukton 1824 zojuist met een sleep MFS'n vertrokken uit station Tilburg onderweg naar Roosendaal.
Op 15 november 2020 werd de fraai opgeknapte Plan U 151 van Stichting 2454 Crew, ingezet om roest te gaan rijden op aansluiting van de HSL bij Zevenbergschen Hoek. Na enkele slagen keert het treinstel terug naar voorlopige standplaats bij de SSN in Rotterdam Noord Goederen.
Plan U 151 als trein 70453 van Zevenbergschen Hoek via Tilburg en Utrecht naar Rotterdam Noord Goederen, passeert het bosrijke gebied tussen Reeshof en Tilburg West.

Museum De Pont is a museum of modern art residing in a converted old textile factory [Benthem Crouwel Architects].
Op de eerste lente dag van 2021 kwam RFO 1831 met ketelwagens door Tilburg, onderweg naar Bad Bentheim
Cargo werd omgeleid vanwege werkzaamheden in Gouda.
Tijdens een rondrit per trein door Nederland werd behalve overdag, 's avonds als het donker was soms ook nog treinen op de foto gezet. Tilburg was één van de locaties waar eens avondopnames zijn gemaakt. Met een buurlandtrein naar Keulen bestaande uit NS en DB rijtuigen, werd locomotief 1208 van de NS opgenomen in het station van Tilburg.

De NS Reizigers Flirt-3 2513 rijdt op 14 februari 2023 langs Heukelom, onderweg als Sprinter 6450 vanuit Weert naar Tilburg Universiteit.
