The Textile Museum has been working with the 'museum in operation' concept since 2000. Contemporary artists and designers are employed to create a design carried out with the help of the museum's technical specialists.

2005 saw the opening of the TextielLab, the museum as a 'creative museum in operation'. Here are six techniques: weaving, knitting, printing, embroidery, lasering and tufting. The public can follow the entire process, from ideation to digitally converted designs, and from color proofs to finishing. Both historic and modern computer-controlled machines can be seen in operation. The museum also features an extensive library.

Willem II Straat, ter hoogte van huisnummers 13 en 15
De straat is genoemd naar koning Willem II, die graag in Tilburg verbleef en er een paleis heeft laten bouwen. Het paleis is nu in gebruik als stadhuis en wordt vooral gebruikt voor de raadsvergaderingen, het sluiten van huwelijken en voor representatieve doeleinden.

The street is named after King Willem II, who liked to stay in Tilburg and had a palace built there. The palace is now used as a town hall and is mainly used for council meetings, marriage ceremonies and for representative purposes.

Die Straße ist nach König Willem II. genannt, der gerne in Tilburg verblieb und dort einen Palast errichten ließ. Der Palast wird heute als Rathaus genutzt und hauptsächlich für Ratssitzungen, Hochzeitszeremonien und zu repräsentativen Zwecken genutzt.

La rue doit son nom au roi Willem II, qui aimait rester à Tilburg et y fit construire un palais. Le palais est maintenant utilisé comme hôtel de ville et est principalement utilisé pour les réunions du conseil, les cérémonies de mariage et à des fins représentatives.

La calle lleva el nombre del rey Willem II, a quien le gustaba quedarse en Tilburg y construir un palacio allí. El palacio ahora se usa como ayuntamiento y se usa principalmente para reuniones del consejo, ceremonias de matrimonio y con fines representativos.

DBC Vectron 193338 met gasketelwagens door Tilburg Reeshof
Omdat de schaduw meer in beeld kwam, stond ik hier wat dichter bij het spoor.
Strukton zou naar Acht rijden om daar zo de trein te kunnen driehoeken, wat de mogelijkheid bood voor een foto. Na Hedel werd koers gezet naar Tilburg.
In het landelijke gebied tussen Tilburg West en Reeshof passeert Strukton 1824 met de 302282 en een werktrein als trein 55144 van Acht naar Roosendaal.

Op 29 maart 2021 is de Strukton 1824 zojuist met een sleep MFS'n vertrokken uit station Tilburg onderweg naar Roosendaal.
Op 15 november 2020 werd de fraai opgeknapte Plan U 151 van Stichting 2454 Crew, ingezet om roest te gaan rijden op aansluiting van de HSL bij Zevenbergschen Hoek. Na enkele slagen keert het treinstel terug naar voorlopige standplaats bij de SSN in Rotterdam Noord Goederen.
Plan U 151 als trein 70453 van Zevenbergschen Hoek via Tilburg en Utrecht naar Rotterdam Noord Goederen, passeert het bosrijke gebied tussen Reeshof en Tilburg West.

Museum De Pont is a museum of modern art residing in a converted old textile factory [Benthem Crouwel Architects].
Op de eerste lente dag van 2021 kwam RFO 1831 met ketelwagens door Tilburg, onderweg naar Bad Bentheim
Cargo werd omgeleid vanwege werkzaamheden in Gouda.
Nog net een strook in de zon, toen deze fraaie cargo door Tilburg Reeshof kwam.
Lineas 186385 met BASF tankcontainers onderweg richting het Rotterdamse.
Stichting Crew 2454 heeft de mC 9002 ofwel Mat '24 Jaap voor een lange testrit op pad gestuurd.
Vanuit Roosendaal werd er (vanwege storing via Lage Zwaluwe) naar Tilburg gereden waar even een stop werd ingelast voor een inspectie. Reed verder naar Den Bosch, Arnhem, Zwolle en Groningen.

Tijdens een rondrit per trein door Nederland werd behalve overdag, 's avonds als het donker was soms ook nog treinen op de foto gezet. Tilburg was één van de locaties waar eens avondopnames zijn gemaakt. Met een buurlandtrein naar Keulen bestaande uit NS en DB rijtuigen, werd locomotief 1208 van de NS opgenomen in het station van Tilburg.

Als set 3136 met 3133 in Tilburg richting de lichtstad.

HSL 186 364 ‘Waverider’ passeert het Spoorpark om kop te maken en later weer aan de graantrein richting Oss te koppelen. Rechts passeert een onbekende FLIRT als sprinter naar Tilburg Universiteit.

Tilburg - Iedere week dient er een trein van de Valleilijn naar Roosendaal gebracht te worden voor onderhoud. Op de zonnige 3e april was het mijn taak om tesamen met een collega richting het zuiden te trekken. De barre tocht werd met de 5034 ondernomen, waarbij in Tilburg een pauze werd genomen om enkele andere treinen voor te laten. De fraaie Protos staat dan ook te wachten op een veilig sein op het 'nieuwe' spoor 4, op weg naar de werkplaats als LM 82601 Amf-Rsd.
