I found this incredible bit of street art in The North Quarter of Manchester, UK whilst on a night out. I really liked the detail and decided to share it in black and white form.

This collage was made entirely from magazine strips with a technique I call "painting with paper." I cut the paper into different shapes and layer them in such a way that they look almost like the brushstrokes in a painting.

Tyger Tyger Burning Bright’ is a mixed media painting on paper of a beautiful Tiger. The title of this work of art comes from the first line of a poem by William Blake, The Tyger. It was published in 1794 as part of the Songs of Experience collection.

Pen and ink with ink wash shading. This is my first attempt at ink washing. I am planning on adding this piece to a small series. 16"x20'' on smooth Bristol. This illustration features a white tiger as the main focus, complimented by a layout of other objects. I feel as though the ink wash really makes the whole piece "pop" and gives it a depth that it would have otherwise lacked. The text on the bottom is "SO CALLOW."

Tiger portrait photograph with digital enhancements in Photoshop with fractal software to accentuate the whiskers and fur of the amazing tiger.
The tiger (Panthera tigris) is the largest cat species, reaching a total body length of up to 3.38 m (11.1 ft) over curves and weighing up to 388.7 kg (857 lb) in the wild. Its most recognisable feature is a pattern of dark vertical stripes on reddish-orange fur with a lighter underside. The species is classified in the genus Panthera with the lion, leopard and jaguar. Tigers are apex predators, primarily preying on ungulates such as deer and bovids. They are territorial and generally solitary but social animals, often requiring large contiguous areas of habitat that support their prey requirements. This, coupled with the fact that they are indigenous to some of the more densely populated places on Earth, has caused significant conflicts with humans.

圖為一隻沈睡著的老虎與伴著它睡的明珠。
老虎的形象是根據在1895年台灣被割讓後為抗曰而成立的台灣民主國所用的旗幟。
盼台灣和香港能在沈睡後再次清醒，
正視中日甲午戰爭及中英鴨片戰爭的歷史，
自省什麼是喪權辱國的恥辱，
何謂割地賠款的苦痛，
認清自己是誰。
放下仇恨，民族自強。

(2019) Sleeping Tiger
Here's an illustration of a stylized tiger sleeping with it's pal pearl.
The tiger is based on a historical flag of short lived Republic of Formosa (1895) formed to against Japanese occupation .
I hope that Taiwan and Hong Kong can be better again after a long slumber.
I hope Taiwanese and people in Hong Kong
remember the shameful history of
the Sino-Japanese War (1894) and
the Opium War (1848),
and know who we are.
Never hold on to hatred,
but do our best to make our people proud.
