I wonder how old that shirt is?

ThunderCats is a media franchise, featuring a fictional group of cat-like humanoid aliens. The characters were created by Tobin "Ted" Wolf and featured in an animated television series named ThunderCats, running from 1985 to 1989, which was animated by Japanese studio Pacific Animation Corporation, and co-produced by Rankin/Bass Productions.

La mia nuova maglietta ispirata ad uno dei cartoni "culto" anni 80.. i thundercats!

Thundercat at Coolum beach on Sunday.I was right in line as they headed for the shore .The lens was probably too big but all I had on the day so had to "make do ".Looks like a great sport for those who like speed on water but can't afford an offshore racer.I have stacks more if anyone is interested. Will send some shots to the various sponsors.Way too much to choose from :-) .

Took 1,000 plus shots of these craft competing in short cicuit racing at Coolum beach last Sunday. It's a great sport for all concerned and gave me some excellent photo ops.

Finally finished my updated Thundertank. The previous version was built about 10 years ago, and part selection has improved tremendously since then, so I wanted to have another go at it. I'm very pleased with how it turned out.

The cockpit is full of greebles and the rear compartment has shelves, benches, weapon storage, first aid, and computer controls.

The minifigs are not Lego, BTW.

I am curious to know your thoughts.

5 pictures for you from the recent Thundercat Racing event on Southsea seafront.

They really flew across the water and they were close to the beach at times which made them easy to watch. As they went across the waves, it seemed a fine line between keeping up with the other competitors, and taking off and over turning.

Day 63 of 365 (Year Four)

Wal*Mart is a very dangerous place. I took Savanah there yesterday to drop off some scripts for Kathy. We ended up hitting the clearance racks in the girls section for Savanah, the men's section for me and even Kathy found a t-shirt or two when we returned later that day to pick up her scripts. Luckily everything was on sale and we spent very little, especially considering how much we walked away with. The economy may be in the pits right now, but it does lead to some pretty good deals.

Thank you for taking the time to check out my photos, it's always great to receive nice comments but also very important for me to take onboard any constructive critique. Photography is a lifelong learning curve! I always appreciate and respect your feedback!

Look like some close racing here, Fistral bay ThunderCats even at Newquay.

Bit more time now to play with radial blur in PS.

ThunderCats at Fistral Bay, Newquay day 2 which sadly was a mixed bag with respect to the weather. So several images are taken with mist or low visibility and rain in progress. But this did not deter any of the remaining competitors who battled on with strong waves and an offshore wind increasing the wave height.

For reference these boats are about 4 metres long, and the back of the boat is probably 3 metres above the water which makes the co-driver's head approx 7 metres above the water level in total. Scary stuff.........

No fear of heights is a requirement for this fairly serious and somewhat dangerous sport. If the wind catches the boats they can easily flip over backwards.

No, I'm not dead, just had to move.

Wanted to do more to the top of this gun but just couldn't come up with anything.

Reach for the sky ........

This is not doctored - straight shot they really were this high and survived the crash landing but with a giant splash !!!
