Thunder Bay Falls at Lake Galena feeding in to Small Pox Creek. I had planned on this being a dramatic sunrise shot. The ephemeris indicated that the sun would come up right over the falls for this shot. Unfortunately, the clouds hadn't read the ephemeris.
As always, your comments and faves are appreciated. Constructive criticism and suggestions are especially welcome as I believe they help to make me a better photographer. Thank you for taking the time to look at my photos.
This Winter long exposure was taken on the day that put 2020 to rest. May it rest in peace. There is parking lot here, but it is not plowed in the Winter. This explains the unusual lack of Winter shots of this waterfall here on Flickr. Getting here will require a short hike through the snow and parking in an area down the road that isn't exactly marked "OK to park here". It isn't a marked "no parking" zone....just hope for the best. I tried to get into the same approximate position as during a previous visit last April.
Spring view:
Thunder bay falls has easy highway access, except in the Winter. when the lot isn't plowed. This one requires a hike from down the street through the snow.
