it’s so empty living behind these castle walls
if i should tumble if i should fall
would any one hear me screaming behind these castle walls
there’s no-one here at all, behind these castle walls...
A rare late baroque statue of John of Nepomuk (Czech: Jan Nepomucký) was custom–made in the second half of 18th century by unknown author for local executioner Jan Zelinger. Since the 1865 the statue was depicted on the municipal seal.
The statue was thumbled down by a gale in June 2008 and shattered into more than three dozens of fragments. Since 2009 repairs has been undertaken by University of Pardubice, Faculty of Restoration.

A Cunning Encounter
On our last day in Ireland Eleanor and I were walking home through some fields when we encountered this wonderful little chap. Or rather he encountered us. He was trotting along a hedgerow with a golf-ball in his mouth. A stolen play thing no doubt. I froze and then kneeled as Eleanor and I quietened.
To my knowledge Curiosity is not a Fox like trait - they're usually very cautious but this chap was young, still a pup, by my eyes and unusually interested in me.
He came over and darted away a few times before standing there, right in front of me, staring into each others eyes.
I slowly aimed the camera from my hip, took a breath and prayed I had thumbled in the right exposure settings, and gently pressed the shutter release.
'CLICK' the moment was captured.
A minute or so later he trotted back off through the hedge and, I hope, to a long and happy foxy life.
For maximum 'real feel' this picture is totally unedited in any way. Apart from the name stamp there Enjoy!
