Way back in 2007, I bought my first DSLR, my Nikon D80 that was only replaced this year because it had finally given up on me.
Back in 2007 I knew nothing about photography, I had bought this rather expensive camera and was using it as a point and shoot.
It actually took a few years for me to dive deeper into photography and take an interest in the technical side of things rather than just composition.
So when I bought my Nikon D80 I hadn't a clue and looking back on my photos from my trip to Walt Disney World in September of 2007 it's completely obvious just how clueless I was.
So in honour of the things I didn't know then, the things I know now, and the things I still haven't figured out; I'm posting one of my earliest (digital) attempts at something past a snapshot.
Wishing everyone a good day!

the sissy takes the viewer back to august, 2018, when the submissive visited las vegas to attend a social gathering of gurls, the first time as a chastised sissy...
p.s. a wonderful time was had by all -- especially the sissy's backside...

A portrait taken during my 2010 365 self portrait project. I've reprocessed it and given it a different crop from what I'd originally used and have ended up liking it a lot more.
Looking back at old portraits, I realize that in the past three years I really haven't dedicated much time to developing the craft and really need to discipline myself to do so. I won't improve with portrait photography if I don't keep practicing and learning.

In memory of the passing of Ottis yesterday. A very loved family member of a close personal friend and her family. My prayers, thoughts, and support through this difficult time. You will be missed puppers.
I got the chance to visit Villa D'Este in Tivoli, Italy during a work trip back in 2004. Beautiful place and fountains.
A short hop back this week to a short bus. WV 42 is seen loadimg up in Dun Laoghaire as it operates route 59 to Mackintosh Park. This was part of a fleet of buses that once number 52, but today numbers 3. And it seems 2017 may see the end of them as new midi-buses are on the way. The WVs were initially used on City Imp routes such as the 123 and 150 but over time these routes transitioned to bigger buses, and today the smaller buses are only required on route 44B. Just before Christmas 2016 the 59 itself underwent a change and now only operates between Killiney and Dun Laoghaire. The residents of Mackintosh Park have to use the 63 now. It is possible to see a WV bus on the new 59, but probably not for much longer. 18/01/2011
