10-15-16 Scott Birney, North Elk Coffeehouse, North East, MD *** Have seen Sin City Band several times over the years, but this was a first seeing the bandleader in a solo show. Performed mostly originals, and concentrated on his songs with a local connection. Decided to veer away from the set list though since it was announced that Bob Dylan had won the Nobel Prize in Literature. He decided to include some Dylan songs which led to more campfire singalong classics. A true throughback coffeehouse experience.
We did a cool bike ride with Venture sports in Avon. They take you to the top of Vail pass and then you ride back to the shop. The ride is about 10 miles downhill and then lots of flat and rolling through Vail Village, Lionsheart Village, and on throughback to Avon.
