One of many exhibitors of antique gas engines. These were used in the old days to power various belt-driven devices: washing machines, water pumps, buzz saws, etc.

My Dad, Russell J. Anderson, used to "follow the harvest" with a threshing outfit, starting in Texas & ending in North Dakota, the crew would thresh wheat and then move to another farm over the week end.

We went to the Camp Creek Antique Machinery & Threshing Show in Waverly Nebraska today. Usually it's 100 degrees & 100% humidity, but today it is 78 with low humidity & a slight breeze. I'm glad to share some of the sights with you.
