I came across this guy some time ago, the October of 2001 to be precise. I was in Guandong, China being shown around a number of toy making and plastic moulding factories. During this whole trip the news was obviously very 9/11 orientated, and in this particular week there were all the letter anthrax things happening in the states. So in the morning before we left our hotel all the news was these fellas in hazmat, or whatever those protective things with masks are, closting clearing out public buildings in Florida. In a long day in hot factories and possibly slightly affected by fumes in the toy factory we saw a bunch of these little fellas coming off the production line. With the news images of this morning and my dark sense of humour and just the chance of it i thought it was hilarous. Our host swiped one of these out of the production line before it went into the boxes for shipping and handed to me as a gift. What a nice chap.
I still don't know what he's all about but I like him.
