Cuando estaba en tercer semestre le dije a Victor que algún día tenía que ganar en Threadless...pues ese día llegó! Es para mi un sueño hecho realidad haber ganado despues de tantos intentos.
Le quiero agradecer a todos los que votaron por el diseño y a todos los que se pasan por este flickr dejando algún mensaje de apoyo, en especial a Iconblast (que me mostró que uno si se podía ganar estos concursos si lo intentaba y que además me dió el título al diseño). Por fin me han llegado las camisetas de Threadless. Parece como si en el camino los repartidores hubieran jugado al fútbol con el paquete pero han llegado sanas y salvas.
Me encanta que hayan quitado la etiqueta y la han impreso en la propia tela. Todo un detallazo para los que lo primero que hacemos es cortarla con unas tijeras, poniendo en peligro la integridad de la camiseta :)
Por cierto los modelos son Landline´s revenge y Dark Side of the Garden.
Hay una lista de tiendas de camisetas "frikis" en Informe Diario que va creciendo gracias a Del.icio.us. Si ves alguna tienda interesante, ponle los tags "tiendas" y "camisetas".
The $10 threadless.com sale is over, sadly, but I managed to make out like a bandit. I got several t-shirts that I'd been eyeing.
Of course, I've never taken cake of a t-shirt before, so I'm experiencing the joy of turning them inside out and washing on the cold cycle. I guess they're not going into the basketball shirt rotation.
This entry won 2nd place in the 2D division. Woohoo!!

All of the Tee kiosks (is there a better term?) had these flat panels on top displaying the design, the title, pictures of the design in action, the designers name as well as scrolling titles of blogs written about the design along the bottom.
Threadless has reprinted an old design of mine that I did back in early ’06.
It’s definitely not highbrow, nor is it the most technically skilled illustration I’ve ever created. It even sparked a lot of drama when it was first printed, but it is the first illustration that I ever received payment for, and for that it will always hold a place in my heart.
