Another lil guy. The image of the dancer was from a cassette of Tchichovsky (spelling?), I bought the sheet music and the thread was found while working at American Apparel.

I stumbled into this amazing store called "Tinsel Trading Company" where they had the most amazing fabrics and trim. These are 100 year old threads in gold and silver. So beautiful.

Their website is tinseltrading.com and it says it's Martha Stewart's favorite store. In the world. I believe it.

This is the beginning of a new consciousness. It happened on February 2010, the thread comes from an interactive performance by Teatro de los Sentidos in Palermo. We are all threads.

I only have got what I have given.

found all of this in a sewing basking at the antique shop. Took a picture 'cause I'm facinated by how old it is!

The threads in this Zeus crank arm were in really bad shape, so I made a steel insert. Fortunately there were enough of the original threads left to allow me to get the crank arm clamped in my mill vise and preserve the alignment. The photo sequence skips over a couple of failed attempts where I tried to thread the ID of the insert before I put it in the crank arm, and the insert just broke. The final solution was is to cut the pedal threads after the insert was glued in place. Yeah, I know that you can buy kits to do this, but that's no fun.
