A typical airport shot where excitement and anticipation of the journey ahead is plain to see.

Feelings all the travellers on the shot down Malaysian flight must have had.

I cannot imagine how their relatives and friends are feeling at this moment.

Thought Heaven Sent would look good in Mono.

What do you all think?

Looks like the colour version was more popular!

Thought I would crack out the Lensbaby yesterday afternoon. Looks like a nice day here but actually freezing in a howling gale!

Thought i'd start writing something in here from now on...hopefully :)

I woke up this morning to drop my wife down the train station at 5:30 am, and to my surprise the sky was absolutely stunning. It was lit up from the sun hitting the dust in the sky creating a misty effect, but only a million times better.

I threw the camera and tripod in the car and heading down to the lake where I knew the jetty would make a perfect shot with this dust storm. I have a few other shots which I will post in the next day or so but thought i'd start with one of the better ones.

What a crazy start to the day. Bring on more of this unpredictable weather.

Shot with my Sony a350 + Sigma 10mm - 20mm, which I havent had much of a chance to use yet but am very pleased with it so far :D However it isnt so new now as it got covered in red dust from shooting!

Candid eye contact street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. I loved that a random street performer's bubble was floating by for this shot. It had to remain in colour to really highlight that bubble and I love the result. Enjoy!

I thought it was time it got "fed" so I gave it an old Agfa £1 per roll film.

All in a Word....By Aileen Fisher

T for time to be together, turkey, talk, and tangy weather.

H for harvest stored away, home, and hearth, and holiday.

A for autumn's frosty art, and abundance in the heart.

N for neighbors, and November, nice things, new things to remember.

K for kitchen, kettles' croon, kith and kin expected soon.

S for sizzles, sights, and sounds, and something special that abounds.

That spells ~~~THANKS---for joy in living and a jolly good Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone....sending many thanks, blessings, and joy your way.....enjoy your day!!!!!

After thoughts of abandoning the trip due thick cloud coverage and a 2hr drive home looming we decided to get our heads down in the car and see if the cloud cleared.

Just after 11pm the clouds came alive like a thunder storm. Flashes of white and orange above the clouds and unexplained popping banging noises in the distance. Do meteors really make banging noises???

Luckily the clouds began to part towards midnight so the cameras came out. The main meteor show developed in the opposite direction to my camera but once I had started the timer I decided to stick it out!
