I thought these Teasels stood out well against the sundown!
The seeds of the teasel are very important for birds, such as the goldfinch, which can often be seen alighting on the old, brown flower heads in autumn to 'tease' the seeds from them.
This evening's entertainment but might have to rewatch yesterday's Game of Thrones. Oh, the excitement!

Honest comment/critique are welcome, thanks guys :)
There was a storm moving through thisevening, and it was nice enough to give me a show at a distance for a little while...
I spotted this Cloud Dog this afternoon on our perambulation round the rough pastureland opposite my home. I've done no photo trickery for this, it's just as it came out of the camera. It carries a certain similarity to my little dog, don't you think? Specially in the ear department! 😁
Oh and sorry about the telegraph pole!
How about some marky mark and the funky bunch for your friday morning? Dude, that video is serious awesomeness.
Took these three photos just after 7 pm tonight. The golden sun was reflected on the buildings in the city.
Thanks for your visits, enjoy your week and stay blessed:)
Friends of ours stopped by this evening and as they were getting ready to leave, a storm was passing just to the north of us....this storm produced a tornado in Jackson County Michigan...scary stuff..but pretty to look at :) We got just a bit of rain and that was it.
What a fantastic sunset thisevening! I took Sarah out to have a look - she's really into sunsets at the moment :)
Got thisevening gros beak shot at my mother's
the other day.I got other shots of the same bird where it's head is not spiked up like this one.I dont know if it has to do with the sex of the bird, or something they just can do for some reason.

well, taking a pic of Stan with my 105mm lens was not easy, because it plays up while auto focussing is in progress, because it is a macro lens I suppose. So I got, sort of, ready, and said 'Stan' . . . and he thought I had a treat or was about to throw his ball for him . . . and so the focus has ended up in that little bit of nose between snout and eyes! Stan is such a lovely dog, the one for whom I have felt the most affection. Peter and I have only had cats as pets, but at home in Gloucester we always had dogs, but none had the presence and charm of Stan.
Btw, thanks, D, for the Burns' night Cranachan you made and I have enjoyed while on my computer thisevening!
New snow clouds seem to arrive. Let's see if i can open the door tomorrow : )
Finally, winter is here.

This Place is our prison
It sells the past
So take me to town
I wanna dance with the city
Show me something ugly,
Show me something pretty
Damn this place makes a boy out of me
The Rain meets my face by the ?
An Unwanted sun pulls rank in the sky
The Boxer isn’t finished
He’s not ready to die
I’m attracted to the light
I’m attracted to the heat
It’s a violent night
There are boxers in the street
Damn this place makes a boy out of me
The Rain meets my face by the ?
And damn this place makes a boy out of me
The rain meets my Face before an oak tree

we're off to Ricardo's for dinner. Reservations @ 7:00 Live entertainment & great food w/friends.
What a great evening planned.
note;
if you look really close to the images [photo after the cheesecake] on the front page of the website [the green banner], you'll see a table of people sitting together. [ you'll see me sitting with an open back dress seated beside Jim ] Our location, beside the sliding green slabs of the website. if that makes any sense?
I was wondering what you thought about this being one of my business cards?
I really love it!
