Undeniably, ghats are first and foremost a place of devotion. As many hindus bequeath divine qualities to the river, and believe eternal bliss comes to all souls immersed in its waters after death, all matters of after life revolve around the Ganges. Hinduism's vibrant faith is even more compelling at dawn and dusk, when devotees burn incense or lay candles on the water, or everytime the flames of a cremation fill up for a brief moment Varanasi's sky with smoke.
Kumortuli (also spelt Kumartuli, or the archaic spelling Coomartolly) (Bengali: কুমোরটুলি) is a traditionally potters’ quarter in northern Kolkata (previously known as Calcutta), the capital of the east Indian state of West Bengal. By virtue of their artistic productions these potters have moved from obscurity to prominence. This Kolkata neighbourhood, not only supplies clay idols of Hindu gods and goddesses to barowari pujas in Kolkata and its neighbourhoods, but a number of idols are exported. Source: wikipedia

this has been my latest spiritual journey. i need to remember to look up and that things aren't always what they appear to be. i need to look towards the stars and remember who i am and where i want to be. travel. direction. freedom.

this is my spiral of souls acting like creatures they are composed of one eye ball, and some twirling flesh used as the body and tail of the creature to make movement and other things, I added feelers and such so the creature would act naturally and I tried too exhibit how the creature would work and act in a real world,

i die everytime i look in the eye
reborn into the same sinking vessel
full circle, round and around, i'm bound...
to think and sink, yet never finding the missing link
the vessel is a tourniquet
full circle, around and round i'm bound...
to this "reality" which is a metaphor
therefore,
there shall be no "before"
time is the infinte streaming of our consciousness
past, present and future.
as is above, so is below.
1...shall be all
3...shall open the eye
7...and i shall swim my way back to the surface.
back to the light.
