For some reason I felt drawn to stopping here today - think it was a song that came on my iPod as I was passing...
A lot of my teenage memories involve hanging out with this guy and playing in bands in smelly bars all round the country, having a laugh and being young and stupid...
...carefree days...
It would have been good to have had the opportunity to meet up as crinkly old blokes and have a beer and a bit of an old reminisce about those formative years...

Dear person who scraped the Obama/Biden 2008 sticker off my car window,
Suck it.
Cheers,

Overall the I think the mods look really good and make the turbo tank look more accrete to the movie.
Look at tags for Changes not that visible.
Dedicated to foolish that changed a little the way we see things. Your way of thinking has led to progress in the world of technology and creativity. Thanks Steve Jobs, you'll be a master of life.
I wouldn't normally think to post random cell phone images. But I have been going through old shots and realising the inherrent interest value as a vernacular project.
Silly times with the letters on the 'fridge.
Each one of these shots tells a story. More so than many of the polished artistic shots I post - the things you are 'supposed' to display on your photography website.

Think I'll call him FF for Fearsome Forties. My friend Victoria is so afraid of turning 40 it's hilarious! His tag says 'Don't let my size fool you!'
I used to think going for a run was the quickest way to jump-start my weight-loss goals. From the outside, cardio seems to be the quickest way to burn fat and shed a few pounds, especially if you push yourself to the point of heavy breathing and sweating. I’ve learned over the years,...
Okay, I think all this reflecting upon the past is affecting my brain, lol! I had a very uneventful looking garden pic and started playing with it in Picnik. The result is very artsy and reminiscent of the psychodelic patterns from the 1960's and 1970's.
I'm having SOOOO much fun with Picbnik while it's storming here in Daytona. no customers in Mattress 1 One all day! people don't like to buy beds in the rain. Even though it wasn't actually raining earlier, it was threatening. So, I'll play on the computer for the next 5 hours.

Beschrijving: We kijken omhoog tegen de rug van een drie meter groot, dun, gietijzeren, denkend konijn, hij zit hoog boven de grond op een gietijzeren sokkel in de zon met op de achtergrond de toppen van hoge gebouwen.

On the brink of an extended war – the climate crisis, wild weather, natural disasters – it's time to think about something else on a Sunday in November – Think about something else – escape from reality on a Sunday in November
What I Like About This Image: Honestly, I don't really know. Something about this woman's pose and the flower bushes behind her just caught my eye, but it's not really anything that I can put my finger on. As an engineer, I don't often have an aesthetic intuition - I tend to over-think things - but in this case I think that it worked.
The Bad: There were a lot of people around, so this is the least obstructed image. In cropping, I basically had to decide whether to eliminate the shoulder in the foreground or to put the figure where I wanted in the image. The background could stand to be lighter, I think, as well.
The Good: I like the composition of this a lot. The floor creates a bit of a foreground, the subject is in the mid-ground, and the flowers are a nice background. The opening at the top of the image also goes way back, that gives it a greater depth of field. The lines are very clear, and the subject is at the intersection of the floor line and the flower box line, which draws the eye nicely. There is a progression as well from light to dark both bottom to top and foreground to background.
