It wouldn’t feel right to skip over my alma mater on my baton day. I graduated from NC State on 2015 with my PhD. I love love love Hunt library so I had to post from here. During the last few months of my PhD, I practically lived here and a scoop of the Howling Cow ice cream was usually the highlight of my day. It’s so great to come back here just to have some ice cream and read, which I love to do as much as I can. Also, @ncsulibraries received the 2016 national medal, which they deserved so much. I could give you a super glamorous shot of a place in DTR that you’ve probably already seen or I could keep it real with you. So let’s keep it real, because Monday’s are for CFA with my dudes. It’s often what gets me through tough Mondays even if they do use the time to make fun of how bad my Fantasy team is doing. We have some pretty awesome CFA locations in the Triangle (Lake Boone is the real MVP) and this location takes me back to my days @ncstate grabbing lunch in the Atrium. Shoutout to those who remember the Brickyard Bubble and RIP Harrelson. The real question though is whether or not to dip. Me? Just wrapped a Triangle AMA meeting on @ncstate Centennial Campus. #thinkanddo I graduated from State in 2006, when Centennial Campus was more blueprint and less brick. Back then, I only knew the campus as a convenient jogging path close by my house. Now? This place is bursting with innovation and thought leaders. The @ncsulibraries #huntlibrary is a studying student’s dream. Time to start the work day! I am so incredibly lucky to call @ncstate my workplace. I work in HR and I can honestly say I have never worked in a place with kinder, smarter, and more dedicated people.
