Nadia's house is full of carefully chosen, beautiful things. These are just a few that caught my eye this day.
She's lucky she's cute, I swear. (she's a little brat)
Today was pretty uneventful, heard some complaining (& did some complaining) Watched tv & youtube, played tsum tsum and with this little brat. Went to the store to pick up dog food.
Two strange things happened today though. The first being around noon, I was sitting in the kitchen while my brother in law was in the living room. The tv was off and the remote was far from both of us, but somehow the tv turned out by itself. I didn't notice because I was listening to something at first until he called me and asked if I turned the tv on.
Second thing that happened was while coming home from the store, my mom stopped the car (in the middle of the road) to look at a girl who was walking her pet.. but it wasn't a dog or a cat. It was a freaking LAMB (or sheep) Of course me being me... wondered if her name was Mary. (we didn't stop to ask her though) I could not stop laughing.
SO WEIRD THOUGH.

I did this .... eight years ago? I don't know what attracts me so much about the quote, but I lovelovelove it. And I love the austerity of putting it in black frame, surrounded by all that white.
I came across it a while back, and B. encouraged me to frame it. We got a frame today, and while I was out shopping he hung it in our entryway.
I don't have words for how happy this makes me, for no discernible reason, but there it is.

The concept of using plastic plates was taken from a Barney's New York that appeared in Union Square, San Francisco. The exercise was about using primarily a warm color palette.
