A selection of vanilla and chocolate flavoured cupcakes topped with favourite things - fish and chips, fishing, chocolate, dog, Job and football
La Medina in Fes, Morocco - The ovens for heating the ceramic tiles reach temperatures of up to 1200 degrees Farenheit. This young man was in charge of keeping the flame hot, scooping in chips of wood and sawdust in intervals. The interior of the oven was the size of a normal bedroom.
This brick wall and the wood slats helping keep it together caught my attention this morning. I liked the textures, the lines and the colours. I went out this afternoon with my camera to capture it. I initially didn't like the power line, but decided it was OK after all.
Other than some minor straightening/cropping, this is straight out of the camera.

We began to take photo of some of Gelzy's old things, most of them she found in the old lady's house she bought thirty years ago.
Wide eyes would clean and dust
Things that decay things that rust.
(But now I've started learning how)
I keep them shut.

Sometimes you notice the smallest things, it is those moments when the big things fade into insignificance.
Only the second time I have done 8.5 x 11 pages - but I think I will do some more. The different size is quite liberating! This LO is about a crop I hosted, using themed materials I won on the BPS's Big Wig Bash on-line crop last year. Both that and our 'scrap therapy' session were a blast!
For the Favorite Things Swap.... I enclosed some tea, antique jewelry, a button necklace I made, some pink earrings I also made, a red spool of string, a bubble ring...
