In a rather unexpected turn of events, CSX pulled all 3 of their "Pride In Service" units out of storage in Waycross, Georgia and put them in charge of Q410. A daily manifest that runs from Waycross to Selkirk, NY.
As one can imagine, a train with unique engines like this tends to get lots of attention from the local railfan populace.
The lead unit CSXT 911 (Honoring First Responders) and CSXT 3194 (Honoring Our Law Enforcement) were on the head end, while CSXT 1776 (Honoring Our Veterans) was working in the middle of the train as a Distributed Power (DP) Unit. (See preceding photo for the 1776)

We support our police around here, but we also realize in most cases of assaults, they are just report takers. My new PDW.
The wedding cake knife belonged to my Grandmother. I used it in 1983, my oldest daughter used it in 2012 and on 1 April 2017 it will be used by my youngest daughter. Each time it has been decorated to match the wedding.
NS Train 255, RoadRailer out of Detroit for NS Voltz Yard near Birmingham chills out at Taurus on the NS Kansas City District-BNSF Brookfield Sub. while it waits for its counterpart, eastbound #256 to leave the Triple Crown ramp at Voltz so they can pull in and yard their train.
This chilly night finds the Norfolk Southern's Honoring First Responders Locomotive, which is an NS-Rebuilt SD60E, on the point of the intermodal train.
