Finally decided to purchase it for my collection. The greatest TV Series Drama of all time. So many memorable characters and situations. Loved every minute. Thanks HBO.
Baltimore, Baltimore, Baltimore! It was so exciting to go because we are huge The Wire fans! We didn't visit the 'jects, unfortunately (but wisely), but had a quick peek at the done-up harbour bit. Think of all the dock-workers that have lost their jobs so their union men have to start taking bribes to make ends meet because of this like in the second series. It has a nice Urban Outfitters, though.

I have been on the library's waitlist for The Wire for approximately ten years. I am happy to have finally gotten it, not only because the long wait has increased anticipation, but also because I need look no further for an excuse to continue avoiding my taxes this weekend. Yessss!
