Perhaps surprisingly the word 'interlude', meaning a break in normal proceedings, first came into practice in the 14th Century. Two warring armies stopped, in their fight to the death, to watch an unusually beautiful sunset go down; as 'The Empire of The Sun' dictated lol.

Indeed, watching the sunset as the “interlude” from day to night, with awesome colours, is a favourite activity.

Undoubtedly, it’s also the best time for a leisurely walk along the beach or the coastline enjoying beautiful views over the ocean, as the following poets highlight.

“A sunset is the sun’s fiery kiss to the night.” – Crystal Woods

“See the beauty of sunset to enjoy the passion of life.” – Debasish Mridha.

( ljóðmynd nr. 139 )

Dedicado a una amiga que en este momento está pasando un mal trago.

I recently posted two images with an unusually pink light in the sky and both were taken while looking away from the sunset. This one was closer to the setting sun - it was just to the right of the light house - and the color was even more intense. Strong winds and hand holding the camera with a split grad to preserve the sky was a bit of a challenge.

I've been aware of the time going by, they say in the end, it's the wink of an eye. And when the morning light comes streaming in, I'll get up and do it again, amen,

Night Shot with Flash

Nikon F3, Nikkor 50/1.8 AI-s, Lomography Color Negative 400.

I am back from my hiking holidays in Alberta's Willmore wilderness - I had a really good time! The scenery is breathtaking, the weather was perfect, except for one rainy afternoon.

This is my first post from this trip.

No post-processing, but used a circular polarizing filter.

Almighty God's Word "God Is the Source of Man's Life"

Introduction

Almighty God says, "The greatness and power of the life of God cannot be fathomed by any creature. It is thus now, was thus then, and will be thus in time to come. The second secret I shall impart is this: The source of life comes from God, for all creation, whatever the difference in form or structure. Whatever kind of living being you are, you cannot move counter to the path of life that God has set. In any case, all I wish is for man to understand that without the care, keeping, and provision of God, man cannot receive all that he was meant to receive, no matter how great the effort or struggle. Without the supply of life from God, man loses the sense of value in living and loses the sense of purpose in life."
