Lake Urmia is an endorheic salt lake in Iran. The lake is between the provinces of East Azerbaijan and West Azerbaijan in Iran, and west of the southern portion of the Caspian Sea. At its greatest extent, it was the largest lake in the Middle East and the sixth-largest saltwater lake on Earth, with a surface area of approximately 5,200 km2 (2,000 sq mi), a length of 140 km (87 mi), a width of 55 km (34 mi), and a maximum depth of 16 m (52 ft). Unfortunately the lake has shrunk to 80% of its former size due to damming of the rivers that flow into it, and the pumping of groundwater from the surrounding area. Lake Urmia, along with its once approximately 102 islands, is protected as a national park by the Iranian Department of Environment.!

— 33 Pol "Allah verdi khan bridge" is one of the eleven bridges of Esfahan city over the Zayandeh Rood river. The bridge of 33 arches was built in the 17th century by Shah Abbas Safavi. 33 Pol is the longest bridge on Zayandeh river with the total length of 297.76 metres (976.9 ft). It is highly ranked as being one of the most famous examples of Safavid bridge design. "33 Pol means 33 Bridge or the Bridge of 33 Arches."

Hengam Island is an Iranian island located south of Qeshm Island, Iran, in the Persian Gulf. It is 36.6 kilometres (22.7 miles) wide and shaped like a truncated cone. The island is generally calcareous and generally low-lying. The highest point on the island is Nakas Mountain with an altitude of about 106 metres (348 feet). The distance between Hengam Island and Qeshm Island is about 2 kilometres (1.2 miles). The primary economic activity is fishing, as well as some tourism and sightseeing. The main sights of Hengam is aquatic animals such as turtles, dolphins, corals and also beautiful shiny sands.

What Is It About A Solitary Tree That Captures One's Gaze and Imagination?
No matter where you live, you have seen one. And I'm betting when you did, you allowed your gaze to linger for awhile. If you are a camera bug, you may even have pulled over while driving down some road, and shot a picture or two. Sometimes it is a majestic, old oak tree in the middle of a farmer's field...surrounded by acres of plowed field. Why did they leave just that one tree? Surely there must have been many others at some time.
A forest is lush. Dense. But while a forest has its own charms, it can sometimes seem impenetrable. Uninviting, even. A lone tree holds a completely different kind of allure. It is somehow mysterious. It's almost magnetic, especially when the cleared land around it is expansive. You ask yourself how that one tree, and only that tree, managed to escape the axe and survive. You sometimes may even feel compelled to walk across the field to look at it from a closer perspective. Stand in its shade. It provokes contemplation. The trees in a stand of woods lose their individuality and become almost indistinguishable from one another, at least until fall. But a lonesome tree? It calls out to you. "Look at me. I'm still here!"

Hormuz Island is an Iranian island in the Persian Gulf. Located in the Strait of Hormuz, 5 miles off the Iranian coast, the island is part of Hormozgān Province.
Based on the studies geology, Hormoz island was born in 600 million years ago and also about 50 thousand years ago coming out of the water.
Hormuz Island has an area of 42 km2 (16 sq mi). It is covered by sedimentary rock and layers of volcanic material on its surface. The highest point of the island is about 186 metres (610 ft) above sea level. Due to a lack of precipitation, the soil and water are salty. Specialists have helped cultivar white mangrove or Hara trees to grow in the climate. There are many virgin beaches that go all around the island.

The Maranjab Desert :
It is located by the city of Aran va Bidgol, one of the ancient desert cities of Isfahan province. It was once composed of two separate cities, Aran and Bidgol.
The Maranjab Desert is also close to Kashan. The city is surrounded by the desert on the north and east, and thus it has a typical climate of hot and dry in summer, cold and dry in winter, and very little rainfall during the year.

The Mars One Project
Mars One is a nonprofit organization based in the Netherlands that has proposed to land the first humans on Mars and establish a permanent human colony there by 2027. The private spaceflight project is led by Dutch entrepreneur "Bas Lansdorp", who announced the Mars One project in May 2012. The project's schedule, technical and financial feasibility, as well as ethics have been criticized by scientists, engineers and those in the aerospace industry.
Mars One's original concept included launching a robotic lander and orbiter as early as 2016 to be followed by a human crew of four in 2022. Organizers plan for the crew to be selected from applicants who paid an administrative fee, to become the first permanent residents of Mars with no plan of returning to Earth. Partial funding options include a proposed reality television program documenting the journey. In February 2015, the primary contractors on the first robotic mission had completed all studies paid for by Mars One.
The concept for Mars One began in 2011 with discussions between the two founders, Bas Lansdorp and Arno Wielders. The Mars One organization is the controlling stockholder of the for-profit Interplanetary Media Group.

Night Flight "French title: Vol de Nuit" is the second novel by French writer and aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupéry 1900-1944. It was first published in 1931 and became an international bestseller.
Plot :
Fabien is an airmail pilot of the Patagonia Mail. He has to deliver mail in Argentina during a thunderstorm. Even though the storm is dangerous, Rivière, Fabien's boss, tells him to fly that night, thereby endangering him. Rivière feels responsible for having sent Fabien on this risky flight, and keeps in radio contact with him. Fabien's wife is waiting, too. The situation becomes more and more dangerous, as Fabien is bound to die. Then the radio messages cease, and Rivière can't do anything but try to calculate when Fabien's aircraft will crash. This flight disconcerts Rivière—who, up to that point, had believed that no flights should be delayed, in order to make flying more profitable. The plot ends there, but it is almost certain that Fabien has died.

Harold Becker and David Lean were originally to direct before Spielberg came on board, initially as a producer for Lean. Spielberg was attracted to directing the film because of a personal connection to Lean's films and World War II topics. He considers it to be his most profound work on "the loss of innocence". The film received critical acclaim.

Every moment travel on Hormuz island is like traveling on another planet and every 5 minutes hiking on the island, scenery and colors quickly changes! The island of Hormuz is where the warm waters of the Persian Gulf meet the red and silver sand of the island and create a marvelous combination of colors. Therefore Hormuz an island that can be called the "Rainbow Island".

This stunningly beautiful natural site is called "Valley of the Statues" because here tall rocks have been sculpted into strange shapes by the elements. With a bit of imagination you can see a dragon, birds and mythical creatures. The site is located on a bluff that affords fantastic vistas of the coastline.

Wat Pho :
Wat Pho is a Buddhist temple in Phra Nakhon district,Bangkok,Thailand.It is located in the Rattanakosin district directly adjacent to the Grand Palace.Known also as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha,its official name is Wat Phra Chettuphon Wimon Mangkhlaram Ratchaworamahawihan.
History :
Wat Pho is named after a monastery in India where Buddha is believed to have lived.Prior to the temple's founding,the site was a centre of education for traditional Thai medicine,and statues were created showing yoga positions.An enormous Buddha image from Ayuthaya's Wat Phra Si Sanphet was destroyed by the Burmese in 1767; King Rama I (1782-1809 A.D.) incorporated its fragments to build a temple to enlarge and renovate the complex.The complex underwent many changes in the next 260 years.Under King Rama III (1824-1851 A.D.),plaques inscribed with medical texts were placed around the temple.These received recognition in the Memory of the World Programme launched by UNESCO on February 21, 2008.Adjacent to the building housing the Reclining Buddha is in a small raised garden,the centrepiece being a bodhi tree which is believed to have been propagated from the original tree in India where Buddha sat while awaiting enlightenment.The temple was created as a restoration of an earlier temple on the same site,Wat Phodharam,with the work beginning in 1788.The temple was restored and extended in the reign of King Rama III,and was restored again in 1982.
The Temple Complex :
Wat Pho is one of the largest and oldest wats in Bangkok (with an area of 50 rai, 80,000 square metres),and is home to more than one thousand Buddha images, as well as one of the largest single Buddha images of 160 ft length: the Reclining Buddha (Phra Buddhasaiyas).The Wat Pho complex consists of two walled compounds bisected by Soi Chetuphon running east–west.The northern walled compound is where the reclining Buddha and massage school are found.The southern walled compound,Tukgawee,is a working Buddhist monastery with monks in residence and a school.Outside the temple,the grounds contain 91 chedis (stupas or mounds),four viharas (halls) and a bot (central shrine).71 chedis of smaller size contains the ashes of the royal family,and 21 large ones contain the ashes of Buddha.The four chedis are dedicated to the four Chakri kings.The temple has sixteen gates around the complex guarded by Chinese giants carved out of rocks.These statues were originally imported as ballast on ship trading with China.
The outer cloister has images of 400 Buddhas out of the 1200 originally bought by king Rama V.In terms of architecture,these are varied in different styles and postures,but these are evenly mounted on matching gilded pedestals.The main temple is raised in marble platform punctuated by mythological lions in the gateways.The exterior balustrade has around 150 depictions of the epic, Ramakien,the ultimate message of which is transedence from secular to spiritual dimensions.
Potato harvest in the high Andes of Peru with farmer Marcello Laveriano. Farmers here plant potato fields at several altitudes as a way of diversifying their crops, giving them a better chance of harvesting a good crop. They also plant hundreds of varieties of potatoes and know the history an legends of all of them. Amazing farmers. This is a tradition in Khoramabad, Iran. Tasoa, the 9th day of Moharam. Women commemorate Imam Hussein by walking bare feet with the veil and with 40 candles along 40 Manbar, which are specific places. They believe their wishes come true.
