Sunset over the Atlantic on the Outer Banks. The picture seemed to compose itself. Thanks for the look and have a great weekend everybody.

The “scape_lands“ is a readymade-fotowork series developed since 2010.

The theme is the hermetical law of correspondence (we exist in all planes, astral as well as physical) I discovered the scape_lands in the urban environments, the streets of Berlin.

A true open-air museum, Rome has preserved and enriched its beauty over the centuries. Each corner of the streets reveals a treasure, be it ancient, religious, architectural or even gastronomic. All roads lead to Rome, and one should not resist, simply take it and go, enjoy the beauty and admire the eternal city.

"The line_up is a paperwork series I developed in 2010 /11, the “liners” are made out of paper (Din A4) ,

oil paint and graphite, the theme is the hermetical laws of polarity and movement. There is no ending and no beginning in any direction, just an endless movement. You have the possibility to arrange the papers like you want and that makes it an endless playground for my photo-work and the eyes of the viewers."

Best if viewed large.

Best if viewed large. Not sure where I took this. I believe it is just after I entered Oregon from California on Hwy 101.

there lives an aul man and his swan and it makes sure to keep him to itself - it may turn into a beautiful princess at night; who knows!

VIA 15 races across the East Mines trestle back on January 30, 2022 with 6414 & 6427 for power, as the fresh powder swirls around the Budd cars. Just out of frame to the right of the bridge, (strategically hidden) are the Renaissance cars, more affectionately known as the green slime, making up the now common hybrid Oceans. At this particular time I believe VIA was only running one or two round trips per week, however now things are back to as normal as they can be with the more recent three round trips weekly.

don't these remind you of someone?

Attention, au moment de prendre la mer !

L'Océan est taquin et peut vous envoyer de sérieux paquets... de mer.

The view from Cape Flattery, the furthest point west in the contiguous US states (thanks Dolores for the correction).

If you look closely, or perhaps stand on your head, you'll see that someone wrote "The Ocean" in the sand with a stick.

Having more fun in PhotoShop with my beach images from Oregon.

Thanks all for your comments/visit/view.

VIA 15 from Halifax is crossing the Richelieu River on a cold winter morning. VIA 15 is currently running twice a week and arrives in Montreal on Monday and Thursday mornings. Since VIA 14 and 15 were reinstated in August 2021 (after not running since March 2020), this train has been running with back to back F40s and a mixed HEP/Renaissance set of cars, and no Park Car. This is because the train can no longer be turned on a balloon track in Halifax, with PSA Halifax (the owner of a container terminal) having taken back access to that track in November 2020. The power has to be back to back as it runs around the train and the first car on eastbound VIA 14 becomes the last car on westbound VIA 15.

Part of the Stroudwater Navigation, this section is known as "The Ocean",as it opens into a large pool. This is the view looking towards Stroud, with Ocean Bridge visible in the distance.

”The sea, the great unifier, is man's only hope. Now, as never before, this old phrase has a literal meaning: we are all in the same boat.”

Jacques Cousteau, Oceanographer, died more than 20 years ago so it does make you wonder what he would have to say about the state of the sea now.
