This is a 21 panel mosaic taken June17, 2021 using a Meade 8" LX90, Celestron 2X barlow, Canon T3i and BackyardEOS capturing software.
The Moon in the Minster, Doncaster Minster, Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
If anyone wondered what happened to the Moon between 16th-25th November, a thick veil of cloud covered the Earth to hide the fact that the Moon was lowered into Doncaster Minster (aka TARDIS2). It was nice to see it up close - our moon is great.
OK, I'll admit, it's not the real moon. 'Museum of the Moon' is a 7 metre diameter model of our magnificent moon created by artist Luke Jerram using detailed NASA imagery.
