This was taken down by The Lash, on the Waulkmill side of Galaha (near Orphir). Recently there had been a "Ship-To-Ship" LPG transfer in Orkney's Scapa Flow and I feel pretty sure that this Tanker is awaiting another empty one to crossload its gas cargo to.

Note that like some other old Orkney houses from that era the roof consists of large flat stones! This shot was taken from very close to the Scapa Flow shoreline down at "The Lash".

Ellen Foley 's Spirit of St Louis album , the backing band were a band called The Lash, aka The Clash, the album being by the girlfriend of Clash guitarist Mick Jones at the time (80's) and the album contains many tracks written by Strummer/Jones and the whole band play on all tracks.
