The other day Gerrie was practising his interview skills. As though he was preparing to be interviewed for TV or something. Saying things like where he was hanging out when he found me. What? Really? He found me.

Interesting.

Oh, by the way.... he is the boss of all the bears.

Happy Teddy Bear Tuesday

So Gerrie made Explore

Funny how that works in real life.

They're finally arrived and they took my breath away! It just feels so good that i found my love from Silkstone again. They are the dolls that turn me into a collector and now it's such a good time to collect them all again!

Poor miss Evening Gown, because ever since they're arrived, my eyes are only on miss The Interview. I mean...what a doll! Her hair is a mess from behind though, but i love this hairstyle so i'll find the way to fix it as soon as i can! 😚😚😚

A creak of metal, a soft cry of surprise, and the clunk of the metal door as it closed. From the far side of the room, a knock on the door...

She is one of my very favorite Silkstone:o)

It is as if this ensemble was designed for her!

I can't believe "The Interview" Silkie is from 2007! It seems I got her yesterday!! aww time flies so fast!

To have made it, and be fluent in English is quite rare.

Here is Hyeonseo Lee, facing the standing ovation to her poignant TED Talk.

She saw her first public execution at age 7. Looking across the border, she wondered why

"Everything around me was completely dark at night, except for the sea of lights in China just across the river from my home. I always wondered why they had light and we didn't."

Her story resonated with what my parents experienced separately escaping the Russian occupation of Estonia at the end of WW II.

My photos of homeless people have been in the press this week. I took this shot of Craig who is the person on the front cover of Keir McCabes novel 'Ice Cream & Aesop' yesterday. Sky Tyne and Wear reporter India Adams can be seen filming me shooting in the background.

Location

Vienna (Austria): U-Bahn [Subway].

Subject

In a subway station of Vienna I found the man you see on the right, standing still in the middle of a lane, wearing headphones and holding an humongous microphone in his hands. I was ambushing him along the wall, when the second man came into the frame: it seemed like Big Mike was asking for an interview. Actually, I think that Big Mike was a technician measuring the level of noise in the subway.

Back in November I happened upon Seth Rogen et al doing a scene for the upcoming film The Interview. The location is Robson Square in downtown Vancouver.

This film is getting a little bit of press right now because North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is apparently unimpressed, calling it an "act of war" and threatening "merciless retaliation".

I can't tell if the other actor here is co-star James Franco. I'm inclined to say not.

Late last week we finally learned that Christian Bale was confirmed to play the late Apple innovator Steve Jobs in a Sony biopic being directed by Danny Boyle. Well, we can now add the naturally comedic actor Seth Rogen as Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak in the film scripted by Osca...

I am a huge people person, and love to just talk to people in general! I don't care if you are a stranger, if we can connect through having an awesome conversation, then I am already a happy camper! That being said, conducting interviews for beat reports is definitely one of my specialties! Here in this photo, I ask Dean the question of what his favourite colour is. Just kidding, or did I?
