Un altre de les fotos més típiques de les Azores, aquesta illa que està a prop de la costa, però que a vista de dron es veu molt curiosa. Una foto que no té massa misteri, però que volia tenir perquè m’agrada la forma d’aquesta illa, els colors blaus, i verds amb les primeres llums del matí li donen un toc de color que m’agrada força.

Un altre dels llocs que tenia moltes ganes de veure a les Azores era Lagoa do Fogo, un lloc espectacular que vaig poder visitar diversos cops, en sortida i posta de sol, perquè el tenia a prop de l’hotel. Amb temps segurament pots fer alguna excursió per fer la volta, o part, al llac, però des dels miradors ja tens una molt bona vista del lloc. En aquest cas us poso una foto panoràmica amb tot el llac al vespre.

Un dels llocs que més ganes tenia de visitar, un lloc dels més espectaculars que he vist mai i del que no vaig sortir content amb les fotos que tenia, certament no les havia vist amb calma a l’orinador, tot i que tinc fotos molt maques d’aquest lloc, no és la sensació que tenia en estar allà els varis cops que vaig anar, penso que no he sabut aprofitar al màxim aquest racó de món.
En aquesta panoràmica de 10 fotos a vista de dron, li dono molt protagonisme a aquesta muntanya on passa la carretera que et porta a un dels miradors, i darrere clar tot el crater on es veu el llac de Setecidades i el seu entorn, el poble just queda tapat per la boira.

Uns dels racons més macos de les Azores, del que vaig poder veure, és Lagoa do Fogo, un d’aquells llocs que no et canses de mirar. En aquest cas una foto feta d’es d’un mirador més baix i on ja no es veu el llac complet. Tenim tota aquesta vegetació en primer pla que ens porta al centre on està el llac. I ja les muntanyes de l’altre costat que veiem al fons.

La darrera de les fotos de les Azores que posaré aquests dies ja no és un spot típic, però sí una cosa molt vista i habitual de l’illa, els boscos i el verd. De camí cap al Lagoa do Congro passes per aquest camí que en veure’l em va captivar i no vaig poder passar l’oportunitat de fer la foto. La vegetació d’allà és diferent de la que estic acostumat, i em cridava l’atenció, aquests arbres -que no sé que són- els trobo molt macos i es veuen per tota l’illa.

La garza imperial es una de las más llamativas del marjal, por no ser tan abundante como su prima la garza real. Suelen ser mas esquivas y además, al ser más pequeñas, pasan desapercibidas. Este ejemplar nos regaló unos instantes…Que, como veis, aprovechamos bastante bien.
L’agró roig és un dels més cridaners de la marjal, per no ser tan abundant com el seu cosí l’agró blau. Solen ser mes esquius i a més, en ser més menut, passa desapercebut. Aquest exemplar ens va regalar uns instants…Que, com veieu, aprofitàrem bastant bé.
The purple heron is one of the most striking birds in the marsh, as it is not as abundant as its cousin, the grey heron. They tend to be more elusive and, being smaller, often go unnoticed. This specimen gave us a few moments... Which, as you can see, we made the most of.

Al finalizar, nos obsequió con esta pose que me recordó a la reverencia que los actores hacen al concluir su función, como si saludara a su público.
Aquest jove exemplar de camallonga comuna va compartir una llarga estona amb nosaltres, mantenint-se en total tranquil·litat mentre l’observàvem realitzar la seua rutina de brunyiment. En finalitzar, ens va obsequiar amb aquesta posa que em va recordar a la reverència que els actors fan en concloure la seua funció, com si saludara al seu públic.
This young black-winged stilt spent a good while with us, completely at ease, as we watched it go through its entire preening routine. When it finished, it struck a pose that reminded me of the bow actors make at the end of their performance, as if acknowledging its audience.

Contrallum i en moviment… Tot un repte. No obstant això, ací teniu l’instant en el qual aquest xatrac es deté en l’aire per a capbussar-se en l’arrossar i capturar un xicotet cranc. I ja de pas un picaport espontani que s’ha colat en el fons de l’escena…
