As she stands upon the basaltic columns her memory returns. "Oh my, I am the new Doctor and a girl again. Allons-y!"

Gerrit Dou was a Dutch Baroque painter specialised in genre scenes. "With his small-format paintings executed with the utmost precision [frame dimensions of this painting: 62 × 50 × 4.5 cm], Gerrit Dow, the eldest of Rembrandt's pupils, became the founder of the Dutch genre called "fine painting" [Fijnschilders | Feinmalerrei]." I'll probably add some shading on her face but wanted to show the new (but probably classic who) doctor so far... I'm really pleased with how easy the hair was, after all.
MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi just announced his retirement after this season. It was him who made me watch this series.
This is Rossi's 2001 Honda NSR500 World Championship winning machine (final season of the 500cc) from my 2019 visit to the Honda Collection Hall in Twin Ring Motegi, Japan.

Valentino Rossi, (born February 16, 1979 in Urbino),[1] is an Italian professional motorcycle racer and multiple MotoGP World Champion. He is one of the most successful motorcycle racers of all time, with 8 Grand Prix World Championships to his name. According to Sports Illustrated, Rossi is one of the highest earning sports personalities in the world, having earned an estimated $34 million in 2007.[2]
Following his father, Graziano Rossi, Rossi started racing in Grand Prix in 1996 for Aprilia in the 125cc category and won his first World Championship the following year. From there, he moved up to the 250cc category with Aprilia and won the 250cc World Championship in 1999. He won the 500cc World Championship with Honda in 2001, the MotoGP World Championships (also with Honda) in 2002 and 2003, and continued his streak of back-to-back championships by winning the 2004 and 2005 titles after leaving Honda to join Yamaha, before regaining the title in 2008.

OctansLUG-- WW1: The Dawn of Mechanised Warfare
Day 4 – Battleships
It wasn't just on land and air that these innovations were taking place. When HMS Dreadnought entered service with the Royal Navy in 1906 the technological advances she featured had a longlasting impact on the future of battleships, going on to lend her name to a whole class of 'dreadnoughts', with every major power soon making there own. The dreadnought utilised an 'all-big-gun' armament, giving her an unprecedented number of large-calibre guns, as well as being propelled by a steam turbine.
Perhaps the most famous use of Dreadnought class Battleships during the First World War was during the Battle of Jutland. Across both sides, 250 ships clashed in the North Sea, including over 40 Dreadnought-era Battleships. By the end of the battle the combined casualties of both sides surpassed 10,000 men.
Probably my first military lego build. Special thanks to Ryan , Jacob , Bobby and John for the feedback in OctansLUG discord!
Part 3: Ace: DALEKS! But what are they doing here?
The Doctor: A better question might be what are we doing here? I'm afraid this is their planet now! But not for much longer....
My apologies for the delay. Farm things got in the way, and my esteemed colleagues were unable to find a new slot for me.
Rifle is a SA Vz. 58.
THE DOCTOR: H'lo all! Ooh, albinos.
HARLEY: Should I pop 'im one, Mistah Jay? We could take his guitar and hock it for bomb money!
THE JOKER: Just a minute, Harley. Those sunglasses look interesting.
THE DOCTOR: Well, they ought to; they're...~sonic~.
HARLEY: Gee, how nifty! And here I was thinkin' glasses was just fer the eyes!
THE JOKER: Harley? Shut up.
HARLEY: Okey-doke, sugar plum!
THE DOCTOR: Oh, I'm swimming into a whole new whirlpool of crazy here, aren't I? [Pause.] Fun!
(Mucho thanks to Black Rose Bride for the Funko Doctor!)
After a great career over 26 years, 9 world titles, 6 times vice champion, 432 races, 115 wins, 235 podiums and 96 fastest laps, Valentino Rossi drove his last official race this week (14-11-2021).
Thank you Vale for the great moments over the years.

sorry such a bad picture. I have all my GiJoes put away at the moment, but I'll get better pics when I get them out ;)
My friend Chris alerted me to a Tardis being temporarily located near the London eye. It was there to promote the new Doctor Who series which I think starts this weekend. As I knew this was a very rare site I rushed to the site and managed to get this shot.

Snake Eyes moves in dangerously close to the Red Dalek and swiftly knocks his gun-stick aside, causing him to miss his shot, but attracting the attention of another nearby Dalek!
Black Dalek: EX-TERM-IN-ATE!!
Newbie: AAARRRRRGH!
Lt.Falcon: You killed my trainee, you metal bastard! Now time for you to die!
When the Red Dalek moves near him, he siezes the opportunity and darts out to attack with blinding speed!

"I know a good drummer."
Just got the Marceline figure, and wanted to show it off somehow. Thought it'd be cute to but her with The Doctor, since they both love their instruments
"Come out, come out of the shadows, Crouch!"
"Who?"
"Don't play with me, Barty! How did you escape Azkaban again?"
"Askawhere? I think you've got me mistaken for someone else. I'm the Doctor."
"Very funny, Crouch. And what kind of wand IS that, anyway?"
"Strange. Usually people answer that with a question: 'Doctor who?'"
