Worth the drive and the risk! The deepest Canyon in Idaho at 1200 feet straight down. The snake river below.

Well there's more than one tree on this hill, but I thought the name sounds cool and might get me more views. I raced home this day to get the camera and gear, and head back out as fast as I could in the direction of somewhere coastal and beautiful. I figured I would pull over when the sunset hit, and when driving further would risk missing it. The cloud formation was simply a once a year treat.
Thats not to say this is the best picture ever.. It's not. I'm not a seasoned professional, (..yet) but I captured what I could. And i knew this night would be amazing. I have a few sunset pics of Mooloolaba Beach still to come.
