My parents are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary this week. They became husband and wife on August 19, 1949.
This is a musical composite project, in their honor.

These red insects have suddenly started to become profuse. They are supposedly benign but are getting more numerous by the day.
Once you would see them running around, mating all year but on the ground, now I see them up in trees, on tamarind leaves and some big ones sitting still on even the soft bark of the wild fig tree in my home.
I managed to photograph this one as it drove its proboscis into the fig and pulled it out. Will try to post the Gif on the same page.

A gelding fights for Oshunnah, but Steely wins, & keeps his woman. I didn't realize that geldings could be so excited, look at his attitude! He was very interested in Oshunnah, when she and Steely came out of the corrals, and into the wild acres.
