This is the perfect way of mixing ‘tsa nom yen’ or Thai tea. It is pulled with two containers to make tea and condensed milk mix more fully. The longer it is pulled or mixed the more bubbles. The farther away, the more detailed froth will form. It tastes even better than any regular teas. Definitely.....อร่อย!

Had this at a small restaurant in Athens that we had not visited before- it is delicious! Not like they fix it at Thai Garden in Huntsville, but YUM! and what can I say? I loved the to-go cup! :)
My mom watched footage of Newport Beach on a Chinese travel show and told my brother, who interns at the city, that she wanted to visit. So on her Saturday off from work, just before Mother's Day, my mom, dad, brother, and I spent a couple of hours at the beach, walking on the sand and taking pictures. Before she became a server at a restaurant, my mom was a homecare provider for my grandparents, so she hadn't been to the beach in years.
We stopped for lunch at a popular Thai restaurant in Huntington Beach.
I can't go past a Thai-style Iced Milk Tea when I'm having Thai food.

Thai Tea
Thai tea (also known as Thai iced tea) or "cha-yen" (Thai: ชาเย็น) in Thailand, is a drink made from strongly-brewed black tea. Other ingredients include added orange blossom water, star anise, crushed tamarind seed or red and yellow food coloring, and sometimes other spices as well. This tea is sweetened with sugar and condensed milk and served chilled. Evaporated milk, coconut milk or whole milk is generally poured over the tea and ice before serving to add taste and creamy appearance. However, in Thailand, condensed milk and sugar are mixed with the tea before it is poured over ice and then topped with evaporated milk. In Thai restaurants worldwide, it is served in a tall glass, though in Thailand it is more typically poured over the crushed ice in a clear (or translucent) plastic bag. It can also be made into a frappé at more modern vendors.

Afternoon Snack: nothing like a sweet ThaiTea to make a girl happy! Made even better by the wonderful owner at Lampoei who insisted I pay him "another time" vs. writing a $1 check. (I added some xtra half&half to it when I got home, as it is usually sweet enough that it simply allows it to go further!)

It is popular in many American restaurants that serve Thai food. Although Thai tea is not the same as bubble tea, a Southeast and East Asian beverage that contains large tapioca pearls, Thai tea with tapioca pearls is a popular flavor of bubble tea.
This is the milk tea (teh tarik) Kit-Kat for the Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore markets. Teh tarik is a hot milk tea beverage which is so popular in Malaysia that is has become their national drink. This product, in Kit-Kat's Duo line, is a blend of milk chocolate with a very herbal milk tea layer on top. While this item sold out almost everywhere when it was first released, I think it's due to the popularity of the beverage it was inspired by. Personally, I found it to be a really strange and herbal taste similar to the jasmine tea Kit-Kat, but more potent.
