Day 127 - As a child I would always see these in the sky, and wonder what it takes to fly one of these. Well I wonder how people follow their dreams as it appears, that if some little kid had the notion that they were going to be an air force pilot, and one day fly one of these. That dream would be crushed, if that little kid were to be near sighted or farsighted. Yes corrective lenses do not allow you to fly a plane in the military. But I guess the dream will not be crushed, as they are still allowed to get a pilots license. I would spend alot of time out doors when these guys were in the air, altho I recall there being like 3-5 of them at once, I guess all those cut backs only allow for 1 to be in the air.
The backdrop could not be more perfect, as it is clear blue sky, non windy, I know will be suffering over night, when it will be like a furnace at home. Nothing to report other than summer will be coming to an end soon, and we had a little planning session for our TGIT, this year it will be a joint effort from M & E, more to come, it shall be good.

Day 143 - I guess I forgot to mention that our TGIT was labelled as the last days of summer, well now I am telling you. That being said I snapped this guy up as they will be starting to disappearing soon. The leaves on the trees will be yellowing. I have to say tho, for summer, I did not seem that hot this year, then again our unit is north facing, so my neighbours on the other side of the hallway will the get bulk of the sun, and I know they complain that they are roasting. Not us tho, like 2 evenings ago, when it was 29 degrees, we just had the windows open, and we were fine. Good thing I guess as we do not require to have AC in our unit.
Since I figured out that there is a toggle on the top of my camera where I can turn off automatic, I have been on manual the whole time, and I must say the pictures look alot better now. I have been told by wifey at one of my other pictures, I had the wrong focus, the one with the leaves, she says that my camera focused on the sun and not the front leaf. Now I get what she means.
All in all I am honing my skillz I guess, I am looking forward to the weekend, as this work week was slightly long, had lots to do, and the 2 day break from work is a good thing.
Oh one last thing, ideas for things to do after I complete this, maybe I will just keep upping photos per day like Inge. I for sure will not try that 100 photos of strangers, where you ask random people if you can photograph them then get a story from them to post, that is just too weird, maybe I can alter than and do it of people I know. That might work better.
Day 79 - Learn to play Guitar, I have put this off for way too long, this will happen, if I keep saying this it shall happen.
Anyways today the Retail group at work hosted a somewhat annual hockey tournament. It was for the TGITs that our office has every so often hosted by one of the departments. I had fun, but I m gonna say this that if someone has you beat, holding that person stick, and then falling down to get the ref to respond, that person tripped you, when the guy clearly has 2 feet on you, WTF?!?!?
Lol it was a dirty play if you ask me, I not going to say I was gonna put it in the net, because it was such a bad angle, but seriously that was a cheap play.
