The Hectic Glow poster that I made a few months ago: musicalblonde7.deviantart.com/art/Hectic-Glow-Poster-2688...
Which I turned into a real poster, gave one each to John and Hank, and they agreeably signed my own copy.

Finally read The Fault in our Stars last night, twice though.
It was fantastic, beautiful, and so well written.
This was one of my favourite quotes from the book, though there were many overall.
“Sometimes, you read a book and it fills you with this weird evangelical zeal, and you become convinced that the shattered world will never be put back together unless and until all living humans read the book.”
John Green, The Fault in our Stars

After reading John Green's "The Fault in Our Stars" I stumbled upon one of my High School English books which contained Shakespeare's "The Tragedy of Julius Caesar" and found the quote after which John Green's Y.A. Fiction novel was named after.
I only had a yellow highlighter so after processing in Adobe CS5 Camera RAW, I pulled it into Photoshop and changed the color of the highlighter to blue (It makes sense if you have read it).
I wanted a shallow DOF, but not too shallow to where the text starts falling off. Of the shots I took, this was my favorite because of the position and angle of the text and the amount of blur.

I just got this in the post today, I am so ludicrously excited but I had to wait until after my exams to read it and I'm glad I did because I read it all the way through and wept through the second half of it. and when I say wept I mean like a baby with snot down my face and barely being able to read through the tears. It was an amazingly and painfully beautiful book I highly recomend this to anyone and it's my favourite book. also, note how my J-scribble is back to front? yeah mine's special :)
My little Anna Maria with my signed preorder of The Fault in Our Stars. She's also holding her puppy sized elephant. :)
