Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,

And sorry I could not travel both

And be one traveler, long I stood

And looked down one as far as I could

To where it bent in the undergrowth;

 

Then took the other, as just as fair,

And having perhaps the better claim,

Because it was grassy and wanted wear;

Though as for that passing there

Had worn them really about the same,

 

And both that morning equally lay

In leaves no step had trodden black.

Oh, I kept the first for another day!

Yet knowing how way leads on to way,

I doubted if I should ever come back.

 

I shall be telling this with a sigh

Somewhere ages and ages hence:

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I –

I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference.

I have some great photographer/artist friends who create beautiful texture art. My friend, Joan creates such amazing images and I’m always inspired by her work. So I tried the first one. And there are many more talented friends around me.

 

This is in my local Thai restaurant. We're regular customers. While a lot of changes in the food/cafe business, this place's been here all the time, at least last 20 years. They make beautiful Thai food.

 

A couple months ago their roof came off (not joking). Probably some design error. While most of the roof was off, they were still running, smiling, mostly for take away (that's what we say, same as "take out"). Recently their roof was fixed finally and whole the area was refurbished. That's where I found a good spot for photography.

 

Yes, they're always smiling even though no roof.

And the restaurant name is "Thai Smile" ☺︎

With the storms of the north east ..the wind managed to break this branch, part way leaving it hanging near to the ground as I was coming up stair from doing laundry there this little one sat. ..so excited to see it so close to the door. ......
