MYANMAR,burma - Mandalay , rund um die Kuthodaw-Pagode.
Die Kuthodaw-Pagode (Pagode der Königlichen Verdienste) ist eine 1868 fertiggestellte Anlage in der myanmarischen Stadt Mandalay. Sie besteht aus 729 Stupas in Form pavillonartiger Tempel, in denen je eine weiße Marmorplatte mit birmanischer Schrift steht.
Auf den Marmorplatten ist der Pali-Kanon niedergelegt, das Leben und die Lehren Buddhas. Die ursprünglich vergoldeten Lettern sind heute nur noch schwarz eingefärbt. Die Pagode wird wegen dieser umfangreichen Darstellung auch als „Das größte Buch der Welt“ bezeichnet. Vor der Erschaffung dieser Anlage waren die Texte vorwiegend auf Palmblättern oder Holz niedergeschrieben. Die Inschriften wurden von der UNESCO in die Liste des Weltdokumentenerbes aufgenommen.
In der Mitte der Anlage befindet sich außerdem die vergoldete Maha Lawka Marazein-Pagode, die bereits 1857 nach den Plänen der Shwezigon-Pagode erbaut wurde.

Von der Kornblume gibt es ein wunderschönes estnisches Märchen worin die Kornblumen einst Himmelsflicken waren – lauter kleine Stoffreste, die Mutter Sonne beim Nähen des Himmelszeltes übrig geblieben und ihr in einem unachtsamen Moment auf die Erde gefallen waren.

Das Dach soll eines der Wahrzeichen Japans, den heiligen Berg Fujisan, symbolisieren. Nach japanischem Glauben wohnen die Kami in den Bergen, mangels Berge in Berlin wurde einkünstlicher Wohnsitz für die Kami gebaut, damit Sony auch in Europa im Schutz dieser steht."

It leaves its Tree's Twig bleeding
But this will soon be healing
There'll always be a next Spring
When a Robin starts to sing
The Leaf will show some green
Until Autumn - even with some Sheen
Again this Heart will turn to red
And after dancing above my Head
It falls on the Ground
With many other Leaf-Hearts around

La Vie semblait monter à l’assaut du Grand Néant
Cette montagne morte qui trônait au centre de Terra Nova, un haut-plateau de Poësia…
Des milliers d’arbres et de plantes cherchant à coloniser le moindre replis de cet espace de non-vie, comme autant de combattants sur un champ de bataille.

Cette vision conquérante de la vie telle que nous la connaissons est typiquement humaine. Elle se nourrit à la fois de la culture populaire (science-fiction) et de la Science, elle-même, légitimement curieuse de trouver des signes de vie au-delà de la Terre (ETI). Nous voulons y croire! Mais, pour l’instant…

Là-bas, le Grand Néant résistait à l’expansion de la végétation, son environnement hostile étant impropre à la vie telle que nous la connaissons… sauf, peut-être, dans ses expressions les plus simples, de l’ordre de la molécule…
Debout sur le promontoire qui me permettait d’observer les forces en présence, les questions se bousculaient dans ma tête: Le Néant serait-il l’état dominant de l’Univers? La vie organique - qui plus est, ses formes intelligentes - serait-elle une situation exceptionnelle, un événement hautement improbable sur la lente trajectoire de l’évolution? Et la question essentielle dont je redoutais la réponse: Serions-nous seul dans l’Univers?
Si cette hypothèse devait faire son chemin dans le torrent du temps , une réalité pressante, existentielle s’imposerait alors à tous les enfants de Darwin: la vie sur Terre, sous toutes ses formes, est un héritage extrêmement précieux et nous avons, en tant qu’espèce intelligente, l’immense responsabilité de la préserver.

Standing on the promontory that allowed me to observe the present forces, the questions rush in my head: Would Nothingness be the dominant state of the Universe? Could organic life - moreover, its intelligent forms - be an exceptional situation, a highly improbable event on the slow trajectory of evolution? And the essential question I dreaded the answer to: Are we alone in the Universe?
If this hypothesis were to find its way through time, a pressing, existential reality would then impose itself on all of Darwin's children: life on Earth, in all its forms, is an extremely precious heritage we have, and us, the intelligent species, have the immense responsibility to preserve it.

Eine Pusteblume in Acryl eingegossen steht auf dem Schreibtisch. Gedacht als Briefbeschwerer, er wird mit einer LED Lampe von oben angleuchtet und ist somit zu einem Kunstopjekt geworden. Je nachdem wie es angeleuchtet wird oder seinen Standort wechselt stellt es sich neu dar.

Nach einem Spaziergang verbunden mit einer und Fototour durch den Botanischer Garten ist eine Pause, siehe Text "Wikipedia", angesagt. Im Rücken das Große Gewächshaus und eine Liegewiese, schweift der Blick auf eine leicht hügelige Landschaft. Im Garten sind Baumarten, blühende Pflanzen, Gräser nach Kontinenten gepflanzt worden. Zur Zeit wird der Garten renoviert , Baustellen gibt es im Gelände und in den Gewächshäusern, der Besuch lohnt sich auch in dieser Zeit. Um den Botanischen Garten besuchen zu können muss man sich anmelden, ein Zeitfenster regelt die Besucherzahl im gesamten Garten.
Ich wünsche Euch einen guten Tag und eine erfolgreiche, heitere und entspannte Woche, liebe Freunde. Danke, dass Ihr vorbei geschaut habt. Seid achtsam und bleibt gesund!

Avec la grande serre et une pelouse derrière nous, la vue s'étend sur un paysage légèrement vallonné. Dans le jardin, les espèces d'arbres, les plantes à fleurs et les graminées ont été plantées en fonction des continents. Actuellement, le jardin est en cours de rénovation, il y a des chantiers dans le parc et dans les serres, une visite vaut la peine même pendant cette période. Pour visiter le jardin botanique, il faut s'inscrire, un créneau horaire réglemente le nombre de visiteurs dans l'ensemble du jardin.

Entre ciel et terre…
Le sommet du Gentil Géant.
Une étendue de silence glacée
Aucun signe de l’univers artificiel humain
Pas même de végétation
Si peu de rochers.
Une nature brute qui défie les repères humains,
Un monde de contes fantastiques,
De ceux qui habitent l’imaginaire des enfants,
Ces univers impossibles où l’on rêve pourtant de vivre.
Mais pour quelles raisons voudrait-on vivre ici?… Sinon pour passer un moment inoubliable avec soi-même? …Où tourner une suite au film du Magicien d’OZ?
Parce que, devant moi, dans cet amas nuageux, l’Univers vient à ma rencontre
Et il se moque pas mal de mes états d’âme…
J’entends mon esprit m’implorer de fuir!
Je cherche, en vain, les mots justes
Pour décrire l’intensité de ce monde féérique et tragique à la fois
Mais lentement, dans ma tête, un air familier fait son chemin…

Between heaven and earth…

Spitze einer Glasvase
Eigentlich hatte ich heute keine Idee zu dem Thema. Mann und Tochter Silke, darum gibt es auch kein Foto von ihr, beide krank. Eine heftige Erkältung hat sie erwischt.
Ein Zufall das mein Blick auf eine kleine kugelige Glasvase fiel, die an der Öffnung in ein hochgezogenes Dreieck mündet. Zwei Fotos, eines ein wenig in Luminar bearbeitet, das heißt die hintere Rundung der Vase etwas verstärkt , fertig. so unkompliziert und schnell hatte ich noch nie für Macro Monday ein Thema fertig.

Tip of a glass vase
Actually, I had no idea about that today. Husband and daughter Silke, that's why there's no picture of them, both sick. She caught a bad cold.
A coincidence that my view fell on a small spherical glass vase, which ends in a raised triangle at the opening. Two photos, one slightly edited in Luminar, i.e. the rear rounding of the vase a little bit reinforced, finished. I never had such an uncomplicated and fast theme ready for Macro Monday.

Pointe d'un vase en verre!
En fait, je n'avais aucune idée de ça aujourd'hui. Le mari et la fille Silke, c'est pour ça qu'il n'y a pas de photo d'eux, tous les deux malades. Elle a pris un mauvais rhume.
Coïncidence, ma vue est tombée sur un petit vase sphérique en verre, qui se termine par un triangle surélevé à l'ouverture. Deux photos, dont une légèrement retouchée en Luminar, c'est-à-dire l'arrondi arrière du vase un peu renforcé, terminé. Je n'ai jamais eu un thème aussi simple et rapide prêt pour le Macro Monday.

The good news :
This Spring there were three little Storks in this nest instead of two last year. This is a photo taken in 2021 www.flickr.com/photos/annickruyault/51234169338/sizes/l/
The sad news :
This Spring, I had the opportunity to talk with a lady who works for an association that takes care of Storks in this area, counting, ringing ... I beleived that the population of Storks was doing well. In fact, no. There is 80% mortality among the little ones. Mortality largely due to high temperatures. The chicks can't regulate their temperature for the first two weeks. Parents, to help them, spread their wings to shade them but that's not always enough. The three juveniles in this shot went through a period of heat wave (40°C but higher on top of the nest) but they were able to regulate their temperature. They are fine, ready to leave the nest.

La bonne nouvelle :
Cette année, il y a eu trois Cigogneaux dans ce nid où il n'y avait eu que deux poussins l'année dernière. Photo incluse au-dessus dans le texte en Anglais.
La mauvaise nouvelle :
Ce printemps, j'ai eu l'occasion de discuter sur place avec une personne d'une association départementale qui s'occupe des populations de Cigognes, comptage, baguage ... Je me trompais en croyant que les populations de Cigognes de ce marais se portaient bien. Elle m'a appris qu'il y avait 80% de mortalité des poussins au nid. Mortalité en grande partie dûe aux fortes chaleurs car les Cigogneaux, durant les 15 premiers jours de leur vie, ne sont pas aptes à réguler leur température. Les parents, pour les aider, étendent leurs ailes pour leur faire de l'ombre mais cela ne suffit malheureusement pas toujours. Les juvéniles de cette photo ont traversé une période de canicule avec 40°C (beaucoup plus élevée en haut d'un nid, sans ombre aucune) mais ils étaient en mesure de réguler leur température. Ils vont bien et sont prêts à quitter le nid.

Deep frozen in a Block of Ice
Locked in the Cold
But Aging withhold
The colour will not fade away
And that’s the same for many a Day
As long as in the Ice it’s locked

i took this pic mostly to support the ukranian people(not their leader!),there is more than it seems.... not all is black and white in this conflict. ( i mean both sides!) without talking of the fucking uncle sam.....and stupid europeans. not supporting putin either.

Hi Folks,
”Our Easter Rabbit came along with a big truck to deliver all these lovely sweets for us which we found in our Wild Garden. You might imagine how happy we are that Hibernation had been finished before and not after Easter. He even took our Cousin ESMERALDA with him and placed some buckets of this most delicious and very special Bear Honey in a hidden place which is made in the Honey Forest. We have - of course- found this treat and our HORACIO will take care for this treasure and makes sure these buckets will not get into any wrong paws. Easter Rabbit is still here with us which is not the normal thing an Easter Rabbit does. Maybe he is waiting for a tip to be rewarded for all his efforts to get the Easter delivery here ?"
