Zaventem (Belgium) lighting test with Erika
I wanted to check out some setups in my ministudio, so I asked my friend/muse/model Erika to pose for me.

LIGHTING INFO:
After playing around with the gentle light of the softbox, I wanted to try some shots with hard light. I used the studiolight with just a standard reflector as the main light. To make the model stand out from the background I used a small snooted SB24 speedlight behind her. Triggered by PocketWizzards.

Pentacon Six TL w/ Carl Zeiss Jena Biometar 120mm f/2.8 and Kodak Tri-X 400TX (Kodak HC-110 dil. B, Ilford rapid fixer). f/4.8, 1/60s. Epson V600 and EpsonScan @ 4800 dpi, downsized to 2400 dpi. Retouched and cropped.
I made a somewhat spontaneous trip to Hamburg. It was even more spontaneous that I contacted an agency there for some testshoots. They gave me 11 suggestions, I picked 5.
I developed the film in HC-110, that I bought to survive the summer. If you're going to develop infrequently, I'm not going to use precious Xtol. An overall good developer that you can trust, but I would rather use it with 120 film or larger formats, because of the grainier nature of the negatives than compared to Xtol.
The developer doesn't seem to like FP4+ that much since the results are as grainy as Tri-X, despite adjusted times (5 min, 22C for FP4+ @ 125 - probably shorter). I've done two rolls of TMX and they did well. I've also done two rolls of slightly expired TMY-2 and they didn't like the developer - but I blame the film. (I had a third roll that came out normal when exposed at EI 200 and souped in Xtol stock as EI 400).
