Ein Foto - wo der Flügelschlag einer Biene zu sehen ist - war schon ein längerer Wunsch von mir. Per Zufall beim Testen des neuen Objektives habe ich es tatsächlich geschafft.
A photo - where the wing beat of a bee can be seen - was already a long wish of mine. By chance when testing the new lens, I actually did it.
Merci !
Bella, cautiously testing the chair only days after I adopted her. The chair had been empty for a few months, Bella needed a new home & I needed a cat. Now, she “knows” the chair belongs to her, though I’m usually allowed to share it!
Happy Caturday
Testing out something a little more artistic for a Milky Way shot, choosing selective colors for what I think are the interesting aspects of a given MW shot. For this shot I thought the intense green airglow and new spring vegetation growth combined with the aurora from the Memorial Day weekend storm were "highlights" of the shot. I also decided to selectively color the Rho Ophiuchi complex, North American Nebula, and Sadr region. Thoughts?

An Immature Common Gallinule, also known as a Common Moorhen tests the waters before entering the pond.
Bought her a new dress for the summer. She had to put it on to test if it was a "real one". Meaning if it could twirl.

Once again the lens (Nikkor 18-105) is not mine, but it belongs to Max... but, you know, I had to make a couple of shots before being sure to buy it! :D
Lens stress test shot taken at sunset from my front door. It’s not bad, considering there was little light I so was shooting at ISO stupid at way too slow a shutter speed for 300mm…
I’ve needed a landscape telezoom for ages, as I only have a wildlife bazooka that is too heavy. 100-400mm and 70-200mm f2.8 zooms are too heavy and expensive for landscape, but the 70-300mm options for Sony were mediocre. So when Tamron launched the 50-300mm lens with VC I jumped on it. The cost, versatility, light weight and decent image quality make it a winner for me.
