Yesterday's posted photo was stuck in virtual world with only 16 views for the entire day. Comment and faves weren't showing correctly from as much as I could figured out. This is a test photo to see if this one does better...

Ahh, Flickr, faves and comments aren't showing up and view count seems to be off. Keep working.

Having my annual blood test and is it honestly so wrong that watching the needle and the tube and the all the tubes for the blood is more exciting than actually waiting for test results? I don't know, something about needles, it works for me. BTW, the nurse taking my blood said LOTS of people take pictures like i did, so I don't feel like the words biggest freak!

Testing out some eyelets that were purchased. Don't really like them - you have to chose your material thickness to suit the eyelet or file down the eyelet to fit. I think it would be easier to make a tube rivet from scratch. Maybe. It's not visible in this photo, but the brass eyelets are too shiny. I might be able to dull them down, but still the metal seems out of place.

So proud of all of our students who worked hard to get ready for the April 2013 Belt Testing!

The testing of the AAC-3 did not go as planned. My men and I were called to go to Bespin, where a Rebel uprising was occurring. One of the smugglers shot down our prototype. Another, the first mate, stole my helmet as a war prize. I chased after him, but I did not catch him. All my men: dead. My armor: destroyed. May Vader have mercy on me.

Test with my new Nikon AF 1.8 - 50mm

A bit of a summer project.

Taking two redundant Hornby Mk IIa BFK vehicles and splicing them together a reasonable representation of a corridor first can be made. This can then be used as the basis for Test Car 6.

Paint job and underframe completed.

Next job is the gangways and the interior, with glazing required to finish.

Anonymous Source, Mad Mariner's test boat, is starting to look like a West Marine exploded all over it. Here we have Cable Cuffs, an Anchor Reel, QuickLine's flat rope, a fender hanger, and some floating dock lines. All are baking in the sun and freezing in the cold to see how they hold up.

testing out this new camera, taken with 24-85mm nikkor vr

Some more tests in particular light conditions, studying the effects of tilting the lens, and learning how to expose (if you want to change aperture, you need to open the lens and manually change the aperture ring...)

I know this sounds complicated, but it's magical how much you can play with your creativity.

Maybe you'd have preferred a model, but I was alone today and I already took pictures of my dogs, of my breakfast, of my wake-up red glassed face... now I'm here with some more colors :-)

Carmen will take a vacation soon and will return full customized !^^ This is just a "for teh lulz" test I made, just because I thought she was so sad without any make-up, after I sanded her little face!^^'

~~~~
Nos próximos dias a Carmen vai tirar umas férias, vai lá pro "Spa da Julia", e ai voltará novinha em folha (mais do que ela já é, na verdade!xD) pra casa, de cara nova!=)
Isso nem chega a ser um "teste", porque o que tentei fazer de fato eu "apaguei" (acabou ficando só a "sombra" e o "blush" _sim, tudo entre aspas mesmo!XD), mas como ela parecia TÃO triste sem nenhuma maquiagem/expressão no rostinho, desenhei umas sobrancelhas (que também serão tristonhas na custom <3), cílios (hahah, cílios super longos porque nos meus desenhos meus personagens têm todos cílios imensos!) e uma boquinha pra ela sorrir e parecer menos chateada por essa mãe louca ter tirado ela da caixa e já ter lixado tudo sem dó!='D
Aliás, sério, não tem coisa MAIS GOSTOSA do que tacar a lixa na cara de uma pullip, hahaha, claro que só tive coragem porque sou retardad... ops, porque não gosto nem um pouco da make na Nahh-ato e porque já tinha conversado com a Julia que, caso eu não conseguisse nada que prestasse, iria gritar por socorro!xD (foi o que fiz!xD)
Enfim, até que está simpática, e também tirei fotos porque quero comparar com a lindeza que ela vai voltar pra casa!*_* Vai ter dentinhos, omg, dentes MESMO, eu amo as pullips com carved que a Julia fez, sou apaixonada, e finalmente terei a minha dentuça!*o*~♥
A peruca vai ter que ser essa até a que quero pra ela (pretendo comprar semana que vem, acho) chegar (e deve demorar... porque, né, LOLRECEITA E LOLCORREIOS)... e os eyechips quero trocar também, mas como, né LOLRECEITA e LOLCORREIOS vou ver se lixo uns de Blythe/Byul aqui (já vi que dá nuns tutoriais) e se consigo fazer funcionar! Se não der, bom, paciência!^^'
Agora vamos todos dançar porque amanhã é FRIDAY FUN-FUN-FUN!*___*
Handheld test with Lens Conversion settings as follows -
Vignetting +16
Red Color shift 0
Blue Color shift -7
Sony Playmemories App - Lens compensation within Camera Apps on A7 to correct the weird colour shifts. Seems to work quite well. At least I can still post the image. Without it, it's really quite difficult to correct.
Probably need to test out the various settings to find the right fit.
And this is really really wide (12mm). Even when I tried to use an L Plate with a 10mm lens, I will not be able to see so much of the hut (bridge) right at the bottom of the image. Next test would be to try using ND filters.
Testing my new 50mm F1.4 :)
Very fortunate to be studying the home range and habitat use of these magnificent birds this year at Deakin University.
Today I was testing out the new Panasonic 100-400mm f4-6.3 with some local birds that are in my study. This is a fantastic lens... and 800mm equivalent on the mirrorless system is rather incredible. All in a package less than 1kg in weight. Photographed with a tripod given the dull conditions.
