Many car manufacturers test their car's winter characteristics here in Swedish Lapland during January through March.
The cars are often camouflaged, but this car only has camouflage on the sides.
They have no model names visible.
Tested the close up attachment.. not a fan. I mean I see the fondness of it, but lining up the composition holding it 10cm out, yeah I’ll pass 😂

This was in Alkesh's fortune cookie at lunchtime. Ironically, the only reason we were in that restaurant was that we'd been late going to lunch because we were trying to get some tests to pass so we could check in the story we were working on for the Mano a Mano project in the Agile2007 RailsFest.

I love this because it reminds me of a Japanese horror movie where the girl slowly cracks her neck then crawls out of the screen to grab you.
Also, I was really tired today and forgot to turn the ISO down after taking pics of the belly dancer who interrupted our yummy dinner tonight. So all my shots turned out way grainy. Oops.
Oh, and huzzah arm muscles! I love, love, love what yoga has done for my body :)

Before-and-after view of the hillside at the test site of NASA's new five-segment solid rocket motor. ATK's facility in Promontory, Utah.
The test motor was 154 ft long, generated 3.6 million pounds of thrust, 22 million horsepower, and was anchored on a concrete block that goes 40 feet deep. The segment casings on this test motor flew on several shuttle missions as part of the solid rocket boosters, which were manufactured at this same site.
See the test itself here.
A famous test conducted by Albert Bandura where children were divided into different groups to watch a video of an adult exhibiting violent behavior of a bobo doll. there were different oputcomes of the video and the children who saw the adult actor get scolded for acting agressively toward the bobo doll were less likely to act agressively toward it when they were placed in a room filled with bobo dolls. this demonstrates that behavior and gratification can be learned and that peopole are going to be less likely to participate in something that has a negative outcome.

Testing my friend's newly bought D3100 with the kit lens. This is my first experience of using both camera and the lens. The camera body feels smaller than my D5100 and lighter, but it is not too much of difference.
My first experience with Nikkor 18-55mm kit lens is the auto focus is really quiet. Even though my 35mm prime share the same Silent Wave Motor, mine feels a little bit noisy when the focus rotates (I can hear screeching sound sometimes).
Sharpness comparatively speaking, of course my prime blows the kit lens out of the water and it has nice colour rendition as well. But if I zoom in with 18-55mm produced image, I can say it is still okay and sharp. Suffice to say, it's an okay lens for anyone who is starting out.
