For shaping of the landscape Cappadocia, the primary influence was the activity of two volcanoes; Hasan Dagi- 3268m on the west and Erciyes Dagi - 3917 m on the east. Sediment and erosion of the soft and hard volcanic rocks led to the emergence very interesting forms. In the Goreme Valley there are rock-cut sanctuaries that are a unique testimony of Byzantine art, as well as whole towns and villages carved in the rock from the 4th century.
The whole area, known as the Goreme National Park and Cappadocia rock monuments, was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1985.

Osady wulkaniczne oraz erozja miękkich skał doprowadziła do wykształcenia się niezwykle ciekawych i fantastycznych form skalnych. W dolinie Göreme znajdują się wykute w skale sanktuaria będącym unikalnym świadectwem sztuki bizantyjskiej a także wydrążone w skale całe miasta i wioski z IV wieku.
Cały ten obszar jako Park Narodowy Göreme i zabytki skalne w Kapadocji, został w 1985 roku wpisany na Światową Listę Dziedzictwa UNESCO.

Nel Medioevo è stata una grande importanza per una vendita di punti vendita. Nelle stanze si possono ammirare numerose testimonianze del Seicento, dagli affreschi ai soffitti lignei a cassettoni e, al di fuori, l'elegante loggiato che si affaccia sul paesaggio collinare circostante, ma anche le delicate decorazioni quattrocentesche che narrano le vicende araldiche e familiari dei Pallavicino .

Do polovine XVII vijeka crkva sv.Luke bila je katolicki hram, da bi nakon rata sa Turcima postala pravoslavni crkveni objekat, jer se broj pravoslavnog zivlja u Kotoru naglo povecao. It is a megalithic complex of 6 dolmens and a tumulus located in the fields near the village of Tauzé-Maulais. It is a major site in the Thouarsais and the Deux-Sèvres department. It is a testimony to funerary practices in the region during the Neolithic period.

Lovran is a small town on the western coast of the Kvarner Bay in Istria, Croatia. The medieval old town provides testimony that Lovran is one of the oldest coastal settlements of the region.
This composition is testimony to my attraction to fallen trees, distorted tree stumps and driftwood, as these objects often represent to me examples of 'Art and/or Architecture in Nature'. In composing this image, I found the light draping part of the tree trunk particularly pleasing.

Un verdadero testimonio de las obras que se desarrollaban hace casi un siglo atrás, se encuentra en Oriente, en el Partido de Coronel Dorrego y a orillas del Quequen Salado.
Se trata de la Usina que perteneciĂł a la empresa HidroelĂ©ctrica del Sud, y nos refleja el sabio aprovechamiento de las ventajas que ofrecen las energĂas renovables para generar energĂa elĂ©ctrica.
Este emprendimiento encarado que abasteciĂł inicialmente a una compañĂa de cementera, "El Triunfo" posteriormente se extendiĂł por el excedente que generaba, a las localidades Oriente y Copetonas durante más de 60 años, con instalaciones que eran Ăşnicas en toda la provincia. Por el mismo lugar cruzaba el puente ferroviario (Ramal DeFerrari/Coronel Dorrego Construido en 1910) los cuales estaban sostenidos por columnas de más de 6 metros de alto que todavia estan intactas. y otro carretero por el cual pasaba la Ruta 72 construido en 1912.
Roberto Brunand, dueño del establecimiento y poblador de aquella zona, obsesionado por ofrecer un buen servicio, sin cortes de luz. SegĂşn relatos: dormĂa con el velador encendido toda la noche para saber de inmediato cuando se registraba un inconveniente e intervenir en el menor tiempo posible. La planta hidroelĂ©ctrica contaba inicialmente con 2 turbinas, hasta que una gran crecida del rĂo provocĂł importantes daños en la represa y destruyĂł parte de las instalaciones en 1919, lo que llevĂł a depender de motores diesel en su reemplazo.
La usina finalmente dejo de funcionar a mediados de la dĂ©cada del '80, y se presenta en la actualidad como otro legado histĂłrico más en la regiĂłn, fruto de pioneros visionarios que en nuestros tiempos aun seguirĂan vigentes.
