I tried using red bricks today but the colour seemed strange and also my parts selection is nowhere near as wide as black.

Testing if the f/8 would give adequate DOF (Depth Of Field) using f/8 aperture or do I need to stop down to f/11. However f/11 would make reach the diffraction limit for this camera.
If I have used the hyperfocal distance I probably would have rendered the back skyline to be less sharp and be in soft focus.

McDaniel Farm Park Trail (Duluth, GA, USA)
McDaniel Farm Park, a former cotton farm, was part of the subsistence farming prevalent in the Atlanta area before the Civil War. Acquired by Gwinnett County in 1999, after the death of its owner Archie McDaniel, the farm has been restored to depict typical 1930s farm life, when the farm experienced struggles that farmers everywhere in the South underwent during the 1920s and 30s due to the arrival of the boll weevil, the cotton-eating insect, the Great Depression, and the migration of farm workers to factory jobs in the cities.
Subsistence farming is used to raise enough corn and wheat to meet only the needs of the family. The grain products from these farms had to be cracked or ground open before being consumed; hence the term cracker was used by the wealthier planters to describe the poorer farmers in a deragotary manner. "Cracker" was the name of Atlanta's minor league baseball team for more than 60 years.
