British Prog-Metal band Tesseract round off the UK leg of their Polaris tour in a hot and heavy Craufurd Arms gig in Wolverton. The band: Acle Kahney – lead guitar,, Jay Postones – drums, Metal Monteith – rhythm guitar, Amos Williams – bass, Daniel Tompkins – lead vocals.

This is a traverse board, ca 1800-1825. The traverse board (called rekenaar in Dutch, and renard in French) was used in northern European countries from at least the early 16th century until the 19th. By inserting pegs for the ship's direction and speed (as determined by ship's compass and the log and log glass), each half-hour (or hour) of the watch, the mean course and distance sailed could be determined [Tesseract, Catalogue 67, Summer 2000, item 25]. This is in the collection at The Mariners' Museum in Newport News, VA (accession # 2000.32.01)
Reindeer Bill, a local who manages the reindeer farm enjoys the soundcheck show whilst sat on his snowmobile.
A gigantic igloo, thought to be the world’s biggest and spanning the equivalent of 3.5 double decker buses near Yllas village, Finland, was transformed into an ice stage for the world’s first gig on an igloo.
The show saw UK progressive rock band, TesseracT perform on top of the immense snow structure for the Jägermeister Ice Cold Gig, which puts artists to the test as they perform in unconventional, ice cold conditions.
TesseracT gave us all a good performance when they was the third of four bands at John Dee this evening.
