Another shot of Buttermilk Falls. It is like having several different waterfalls to shoot here due to it having 3 tiers. Again, this shot is balanced on a rock since my tripod broke when I arrived at the falls on this perfect day to shoot slow shudder. I made the best of it ;-)

Best when viewed on Large:
I recommend that anyone that visits CT not miss this gorgeous scenic place. It is not very well known it seems as I have spent many hours at these falls alone just enjoying the sounds and sights of nature. I used to bring my dog and kids here to enjoy the cool water in the summer as well. As I recall the falls cascade about 50 feet, steep in some areas and gradual enough to climb around the rocks in others. I also recommend that you not follow the map on this site, and get a better map so that you are sure to not get lost on these old long country roads :-)

You couldn't ask for better lighting for this event. The carriage was perfectly illuminated with evening low light. We have had 3 days of cloud filled skies and rain and the sun seemed to come out magically for this event.
The location for the wedding was gorgeous, located in rural CT, Wood Acres has beautiful ponds, an abundance of trees all of which displayed gemstone hues during peak autumn season.
However, my camera malfunctioned through the entire event so unfortunately almost all my photos did not come out :-(
She is a smart girl and hired a pro photographer. Phew!! ;-)
