Anti-war protest at the State Library of Victoria, Melbourne, Australia - Saturday 17 March 2007 [ref IMG_6870]
If I were to take a gun into the Capitol and try to take it over, I would be arrested as a terrorist and prosecuted. Well guess what, people, when the same crime is committed by a large group of people, that doesn't make it *less* scary, it makes it *more* scary. It doesn't make it *less* of a crime; if anything, it makes it *more* of a crime because now we're dealing not with a crazed lone gunman but an organization and a conspiracy. These people need to have the book thrown at them. The very idea that these assholes are even carrying American flags is absolutely disgraceful, because nothing could be more un-American than assaulting our government institutions to try to interrupt the peaceful transfer of power that defines our American form of government.

Refugees Welcome, not a terrorist is the theme of this piece of urban art on a utility box in down town Los Angeles on a late night.
I made this today to send to www.indefence.is.
It's the Icelandic nation protesting the fact that Gordon Brown used a terrorist law on us. Iceland, terrorists?! As I heard on the radio the other day, there's only one country that's less likely to use terrorism than Iceland, and that's the Vatican.
Anyway, check it out, sign the petition. Try refreshing the page and see how many people are taking part! It's pretty amazing. Icelanders are not terrorists!
Now, usually I try not to think about this whole business with the financial pickle we're in...but I thought this was worth the thought - and I think that web site is a good idea. It's pretty amazing that a nation can address another nation (or it's prime minister) in that way. Some of the pictures there (if you click postcards) are pretty funny too :P
Remote control hover tanks would pretty much be the most fun toy ever!
This started off as mainly a challenge to use some of the parts from some of the basketball sets. I then tried to see what other odd parts I could use in new ways.

Some Counter-Strike figures made with combat bricks and the reloaded AK-47 Joe from Citizen Brick got me!
Look within your own mind and give no quarter to hate.
Don't seek to call out others hate, tend to your own attachments and aversions.

This is the dark fruit when compassion is absent from ones motivation.
Casualties always the innocent, children and women scattered everywhere.
The nation and colors of the flag may change, the blood is always red.

This started out as a better shot of my wire stock AK mod from yesterday, but I added to it until it became this. Features include: dirt, wood, oldness in most of the guns, explosiveness, and deadliness. C&C appreciated!
Are you kidding me? This morning I was kicked out of a group forum for just posting this article to start a comment... kicked out of a news forum and banned for life for mentioning Barcelona.
Barcelona terrorists had planned even larger attack using explosives.
Yahoo News UK 17 August 2017
Jihadists who launched two terror attacks in Spain killing at least 14 people were planning even greater carnage involving explosives. Five jihadists were gunned down in the beach resort of Cambrils, 100km south-west of Barcelona, in the early hours of Friday morning after they tried to drive an Audi into a crowd of people. One woman who was critically injured in the attack later died in hospital. That attack happened just hours after a white van ploughed into a crowd of pedestrians in the popular Las Ramblas tourist area in Barcelona, killing 13 people and injuring dozens more.
On Friday afternoon, Catalan regional police official Josep Lluis Trapero said an explosion at a house in the town of Alcanar on Wednesday indicated the attacks were more “rudimentary” than planned. Police have said the other man could have been the driver of the van, named by local media as Moussa Oukabir. Isis has claimed responsibility for the carnage in Barcelona. Police are working on the assumption that a terror network of between 8-12 people are behind the attacks.

"no to Iranian occupation in East Kurdistan"
Today, the middle east summit has begun in Warsaw. The Summit focuses on " Stability, peace, freedom and security in the middle east ". an important part of ensuring that Iran is " not a destabilizing influence ".
On the occasion of this summit, Kurds, Baloch, azéris and Arabs (minorities of Iran) have gathered together at a rally in Warsaw to protest against Iran's anti-Iranian policy and to express their demand for self-determination and freedom.
Kurds urge unity in the course against the Iranian regime
The East Kurdish parties, not invited to the middle east summit in Warsaw, say that the world must cooperate with the opposition forces in Iran if it wants to contain the destabilising activities of the Islamic Republic.
"the different international views and approaches to the Islamic Republic have helped the regime", says it in a statement by the political parties of the east kurdistan political parties on Monday.
The parties make it clear that the Iranian regime has survived years of wars, protests and sanctions, because it is 'at NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL LEVEL'.
The Centre was founded by five Kurdish parties in Iran to better coordinate their activities. Members include the democratic party of Kurdistan (Kdp-I), the democratic party of Kurdistan Iran (Pdki) and komala.
They condemned the fact that they were not invited to the Warsaw conference on 13. And 14. February, but said they would welcome a single international voice against Tehran.
Today, at 6:25 AM, a bomb exploded at a farmers house in Jiulongpo, a city near Chongquing. The governent is shocked about this cruel, and the police wants to catch the terrorist. But the leader of the police thinks that just someone wants to hit the farmer, not the country. But the farmer got blessing in disguise, the bomb exploded next to his house at a field, not in his house. So the farmer is alive and is not hurt.

20 BBY
Fendoc used to be a Republic-controlled planet until the Clone Wars stared. In 22 BBY people of Fendoc decided to leave the Republic. Fendoc, a planet close to the Galaxy core, couldn't fall into Separatist hands and soon war emerged between Republic Troops and Fendoc Rebels or Terrorists as others called them.
Jedi Master and General Cromic Mashon was assigned to lead the 33rd Heavy Regiment on the planet Fendoc in hopes of stopping the rebellion. Almost exactly two years into the war and no progress. The rebels were very well organised getting medical supplies and weapons from an unknown faction. This war also saw an immense use of DC-15LE blaster, heavier and more devastating, rapid fire version of the more long-range-oriented DC-15A. During those two year General Mashon earned Regimental Commander CC-7901 Ares's respect as a great leader. In Ares's eyes he was a much better leader than other Jedi because his Jedi techings didn't stop him from pursing victory - although the Jedi council didn't agree with Mashon's mindset, they still though he was the most suiting leader for this. General Mashon's mindset also inspired his other troops with the 33rd Heavy Regiment becoming a feared force, much less friendly than their other Clone counterparts. The war on Fendoc ended 2 years after the Clone Wars, 2 years after the formation of the Galactic Empire with, of course, the Empire winning, succesfully wiping out the remaining rebels and taking control of the planet. Commander Ares continued to serve the Empire and became one of not many Clone Troopers respected by the Emperor himself.

FUREY: Omar Khadr keeps coming back for more – and still shows no regrets. Most of us would have taken the money and run. But not Omar Khadr.
À l'aide du photographe Jean Lapalme, j'ai réalisé cette image hier, dans mon studio. Cela faisait un moment que j'avais conceptualisé cette image. C'est maintenant chose faite.
