Coral, Swarovski Crystal, Moss agate, palladium, Quartz crystal ball beads, rose quartz, matsuno, and miyuki. As always, fishing line only. No wire, or glue. Lots of knots. Very durable and solid. You might even be able to use it as a weapon. lol.

Crocodylius Philodendrus (2016/17)

As part of her series Diversifolia – which in the scientific names of plants indicates a single species possessed with a considerable variety of leaf, Crocodylius Philodendrus employs clusters of bouquet like arrangements comprised out of a variety of animal forms that explode into space in all directions. Her calculated compositions employ a structural property called “tensegrity,” wherein individual parts are arranged in balanced compression and secured with tensile cables, that galvanizes the aluminium crocodiles, hogs and deer, cast iron tortoises, and bronze zebras into purely formal, abstract components as they propel into space due to their aggregate momentum. Circumnavigating her towering assemblage reveals the transformation of found objects and industrial refuse into expertly orchestrated abstractions that are fluid and rhizomatic in nature.

This looks like a tarp, but has a full tub, two side doors, gear storage with an access door, it's super-roomy and weighs under 3 lbs. Nice!

Eight years worth of dust caked on to the components of the recently de-comissioned tensegrity.net server. I accidentally breathed some of it in, and I wasn't right for a couple of days.

"Glowing prisms that are floating in the air will give our invisible communication networks brief physical form.

 

Powerlines consists of six Illuminated translucent prisms suspended in a freestanding, tensegrity structure. The overall effect will be intricately detailed blocks of light, floating unsupported in the air. Each prism will be six feet long, with a triangular profile—and will be lit on each side with roughly sixty full-color LEDs, allowing for interactive animations that vary across the length and around the circumference of each prism. The light animations will vary according to the position and number of participants in the immediate area."
