I really enjoyed my visit to The Brick Art and Gifts store
"...a gift shop concentrating on artisan made products original and edition works of art in the heart of Prospect Heights"
I chatted with the manager, who like myself is an alumni of City College. I majored in film, she is a music composer. I had to get a photo of her tee for my #teeshirttales
with my "Teeshirttales Project" I'm always checking out tees, so of course I had to ask her for a photo when I spotted this at a recent visit to PasaPasa Juice Bar & Grill
She said she wears this every Monday when she goes to the gym.

This tee caught my eye at a street event, Restoration Rocks-Bed-Stuy-- I asked what it's about . She's wearing a friend's (filmmaker) brand.
I passed by this brother and noticed his colorful hair, and I asked him for his photo when I passed him again walking in the other direction. I told him about my "Teeshirttales" project--this tee was under a hoodie he was wearing , and had much more meaning for him

I was playing "solo tennis" at a handball court in Crown Heights--we struck up a conversation when she asked if I played pickleball--then I noticed the shirt

I met Cait at FiveMyles in Prospect Heights Brooklyn, where she curated a few exhibits during the summer. We talked about her work, and her Pink Floyd tee-shirt, as her dog who was also in the gallery plopped herself right at my feet, supposedly she does that when she likes people--every time I moved she would also--and prop herself at my feet again & again.

It's easier for me to approach a stranger when I like their tee-shirt, and eventually ask them to pose for a
#teeshirttales pic.
I usually lead with the line: "I'm a tee-shirt reader"--and then explain my project.
Also this was in the setting of an art gallery, as we attended an exhibit at Five Myles Art Gallery in Crown Heights Brooklyn
Her friend, who was also there, created the shirt and designs "out-of-the-ordinary tees"--the designer's handle is Instagram handle: Apocalypso2
MY Stranger 36/100 .
I've placed items in this fridge in my Crown Heights neighborhood, grateful that it is available for those in need of food.
I came across a group pf adults with children filling the fridge, and I asked one of them, who was taking pictures about her organization.
Hannah and the organization as stated on her tee-shirt is "Repair the World" She told me a little about the organization, but I also looked it up. Here is what I found:
"Repair the World Brooklyn mobilizes Jews and their communities to take action to meet local needs across Brooklyn, grounding our service in reflection, education, and Jewish values. " #teeshirttales
