The Babys: Center Stage, Canton, Michigan concert date was 7/5/1979.
My cousin reminded me that we saw Ted Nugent after his concert driving by us in his limo.
Missing: Ticket stub from Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers on November 16, 1979 at Masonic Auditorium, Detroit, MI (Damn the Torpedoes tour. Album was released on 10/17/79. Opening act: The Fabulous Poodles). I went with Greg and I think my sister Suzy.

Lead vocalist David Gilbert wails during a 1981 concert in Toronto. I had the fortune to see the Rockets live twice on the MSU campus. A hard-working Motor City favorite, they were an awesome live band, and they put out several great records. Their tunes included Turn Up The Radio, Takin' It Back, Desire, Back Talk, Rollin' By The Record Machine, Born In Detroit, and a great cover of Fleetwood Mac's Oh Well. They broke up in 1983, performing two final sold out shows at Pine Knob. There will be no reunion. Sadly, Rockets singer (and former Ted Nugent frontman) David Gilbert succumbed to the rock n roll lifestyle and checked out in 2001. These are copies of the Steyr AUG rifles that were banned from import back in 1989 now made by an American company called MSAR. These come in 5.56x45mm and offer some slight changes to the original Steyrs, including bolt stay open design and proprietary magazines. Just under $2000 at your local gun shop.

A replica MP38 new manufacture offered from Interordnance is on the top. The barrel length is the same as the original, therefore the folding stock is permanently welded shut. A very nice copy of a classic original, semi-auto only. They're asking $4000 for them. Followed by a Mosin Nagant sniper, a Russian capture K98k, and a Mosin Nagant carbine.

I think it's hilarious (though I can and try to find humor in most everything and I'm not very easily offended) and the picture idea came out pretty much as well as I hoped it would. I've wanted to do a picture like this for a while, but my co-worker Kris reminded me of the idea over the weekend, and since I was at a loss for ideas today, I dug through my dad's old record collection and found this fantastic album cover. Thanks to Scotty for 'modeling' lol. :)

Greg Smith joined up with Ted on 2007's "Unleash the Nuge Beast" tour on the recommendation of Mick Brown.
Greg has also been the bassist, and backing vocals for such artists as Alice Cooper, Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow, Alan Parsons Project, Blue Oyster Cult, Dokken, Tommy James & the Shondells, Joe Lynn Turner, Vinnie Moore, Van Helsing's Curse, O2'L and Wendy O. Williams.
Greg was also the principal bass/vocals for the Tony Award winning Billy Joel musical "Movin Out" for it's entire run on Broadway and 1 year on the road.
