Paseando por la Orotava, vi este magnifico y nuevo automovil, un Renault 4L, me llamo la antención el perfecto estado de conservacion y me pregunto ¿sabran los mecanicos de ahora con las nuevas tecnologias, reparar este vehiculo?.
Während ich durch den Orotava schlenderte, sah ich dieses großartige neue Auto, einen Renault 4L, mein Name ist der perfekte Erhaltungszustand und ich frage mich, ob die Mechaniker jetzt mit den neuen Technologien wissen, dieses Fahrzeug zu reparieren?

Thats a lampshade i noticed at a heritage hotel in Rajasthan. Was quite amused to have a glance of this wooden lampshade, which left me pondering about its functioning (the tecnology then) and how these tiny things must be creating the difference to the space when lit at night !!

Kachinas originally came into being through the belief that their ancestors came from the underworld of Mother Earth. The dolls were made initially for religious and educational purposes. The Hopi Indian Kachinas were to be given to children in order for young people to identify personages. They were not to be worshiped or sold. Eventually, however, the dolls were marketed, much to the shagrins of traditionalist Hopi and Navajo Native Americans.
From Left To Right, Bear Kachina, Crow Mother, Eagle Dancer.
Bear Kachina: The power and magic of the bear prevents and cures sickness. With the bear footprint on either cheek, this kachina symbolizes power, strength, courage, and healing. In Native American rituals and mythology, this shepard protector plays a major role as one of the stronger warriors of the kachina dolls.
Crow Mother: The Crow Mother is the mother of all Kachinas, who guides and protects all. She carries a corn basket (she lost her basket when I was returning from Arizona, but I have a friend who does pottery and is making me a basket) and wishes the best for everyone.
The Eagle Dancer: The Eagle is the ruler of the sky and the messenger to the Heavens. This sacred kachina is the overseer of all the kachinas and is a honored guest who receives many presents. Their plumage is incredibly beautiful and the eagle represents strength and power. According to the Hopi Indians he is one of the main dancers in the Solstice Parade. The Eagle is extremely popular (and hard to find as I found out, and not cheap) because of his feathers. The bells adorned above his moccasins can be distinctly be heard in the distance.

Greetings friends! Is it worth upgrading to the Nikon D850 or Sony A7RII for higher resolution? Or upgrading to the PHASE 1 IQ3 100MP ($42,000) or PHASE 1 IQ3 80MP ($33,000 ).
Well, when it comes to achieving high-resolution prints, there are many options these days. For instance, one can shoot panoramas and easily stitch the resulting RAW Files together in Lightroom. And too, the enlarging software has become most epic, including ON1's Perfect Resize, Alien Skin's Blow Up, PhotoZoom, and Photoshop. Not so long ago, other options seemed superior to Photoshop, but today, when I enlarge with Photoshop's algorithms, selecting "preserve details," with a bit of noise reduction, the results seem as good, if not better, than the competitors. If anyone has seen other results, please do share them below! The comparisons are always changing as the resizing tecnology advances!
I have been experimenting with creating enlargements with Photoshop, so as to mimic the sizes (widths) of various camera systems. Beginning with a SonyA7RII shot, I have resized it to match the pixel widths of the Nikon D850 (8256 x 5504 pixels), PHASE 1 IQ3 100MP (11608 x 8708 pixels), and PHASE 1 IQ3 80MP (10328 x 7760 pixels). Below are some general thoughts.
The Nikon D850, Sony A7rii, and Nikon D810 do not differ all that much in pixel resolutions.
Nikon D850:
Max. image resolution: 8256 x 5504
Sony A7RII & A7RIII:
Sensor resolution: 7976 x 5317
As one can see, the Sony A7RII (same dimensions as the Sony A7RII) is very close to the Nikon D850 in resolution. Considering the width, the Sony's 7967 is very close to the Nikon D850's 8256. The Sony is 96% as wide as the D850.
The percentage difference is very small, and with Perfect Resize and/or Photoshop, one may conclude that the difference would be indistinguishable.:
Nikon D810:
Max. image resolution: 7360 x 4912
The Nikon D810 RAW image has a width of 7360 pixels. This is about 90% of the width of the D850. The percentage difference is very small, and with Perfect Resize and/or Photoshop, one may conclude that the difference would still be indistinguishable. Factor in the choice of noise and sharpening, as well as the lenses used, and this difference is indeed very small.
The pixel resolution of the PHASE 1 IQ3 100MP is 11608 x 8708 pixels.
The above Sony A7RII RAW image has a width of 7976 pixels. This is about 70% of the width of the PHASE 1 IQ3. The results of enlarging a Sony A7RII shot to the width of a Phase1 IQ3 100mp system with Perfect Resize and Photoshop might begin to fall short here. But if one shoots a panorama with the A7RII, stitching together multiple shots, the game is back on.
The pixel resolution of the PHASE 1 IQ3 80MP is
10328 x 7760 pixels.
The above Sony A7RII RAW image has a width of 7976 pixels. This is about 77% (round up to 80%) of the width of the PHASE 1 IQ3 80MP. The results of enlarging a Sony A7RII shot to the width of a Phase1 IQ3 80MP system with Perfect Resize and Photoshop might again begin to fall short here, though not as short as when compared with the Phase1 IQ3 100mp system. But agian, if one shoots a panorama with the A7RII, stitching together multiple shots, the game is back on.

Al costat oposat a la Cort Ducal, es troba la Rocchetta, la part del castell més inexpugnable, en la que els Sforza es refugiaven en cas d'atac. Consta d'un pati quadrat, amb una alçada de cinc plantes per cada costat. Els quatre costats de la construcció no són uniformes ni en estil ni en la decoració. Un gran porxo es troba a la planta baixa suportat per columnes de pedra que formen arcs de mig punt, mentre que per sobre s'eleven tres files de finestres: una primera de petites obertures rectangulars, seguida per una altra d'obertures relativament grans d'ogiva i una darrera de finestretes de petita escala, entre elles hi ha cornises de maó. Les recents reformes han posat al descobert les façanes originals de guix decorades, i pintures al fresc que simulen obertures amb decoracions arquitectòniques. Al fons de la imatge hi veiem la torre de Bona de Savoia.
El Castello Sforzesco és un castell que es troba al barri vell de Milà, Itàlia, i que actualment alberga museus d'art de diverses temàtiques. La construcció original en el lloc va començar al segle XIV pels Visconti. El 1450, Francesco Sforza va començar a reconstruir-ho, i encara va ser més modificat per generacions posteriors. Van ser els Sforza els grans impulsors d'aquest monumental castell, que van omprir del millor art i les millors tecnologies de la època.

Continuando com os produtinhos, esses são os que eu uso pra hidratar as unhas. Sim, só as unhas, e nem posso dizer que uso, porque ainda não abri quele Dior, porque paguei tão caro que quando abrir é pra usar de uma vez.
Esses produtos aí devem ser usados nas unhas sem esmalte. Juntando isso ao fato de que eu tenho que lembrar de usar, dá pra ter uma idéia de que duram muito! :D

SHEIK ZAYED MOSQUE, ABU-DHABI (UAE), PRAYERS RETORNING HOME.
Just half a century ago, Abu Dhabi was a small village of fishermen and merchants of pearls, formed from a Bedouins' family that was established in the place.
So the city is brand new, with modern buildings and skyscraper of extravagant designs
The Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan to the-Nahyan, considered to be the father of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), turned a dream on a reallity with the construction of a mosque of an impressive beauty, even so he could not see it finished.
This great religious building can shelter up to 40.000 public inspectors, and is the biggest mosque in United Arab Emirates and the third biggest of the world.
The most remarkable thing in the main prayers room , placed under the great central dome is the 7 lamps of crystal, the biggest one having 10 meters of diameter and a weight of 8 tons. They are made by Swarovski's crystal, on a structure of silver and copper both gold plated.
Nevertheless, the most valuable piece is just under our feet: it is the impressive and the biggest Persian carpet ever elaborated in an sole piece. It has 5627 square meters, weigths 47 tons and is composed by more than 2200 million knots. And it was manufactured by 1200 Iranian anonymous women who worked for two years.
In the right side wings it is placed separately the also beautiful women’s praying room .
To accede to the praying rooms one must cross the great court of 17.000 square meters, covered with slabs of marble adorned with inlays of flowers of colors and surrounded with galleries with arches in the shape of horse-shoe.
In the photo above, two women who are dressing the traditional garment "hiyab" together with the veil "niqab" that covers their face, do return from their prayers, crossing the great court … and they are speaking throughout a mobile phone.

Así pues, la ciudad es nueva, con edificios modernos y rascacielos de diseños extravagantes, aunque no ha apostado tan a fondo por el turismo como lo ha hecho Dubai

En la foto, dos mujeres que llevan el vestido tradicional hiyab junto con el velo niqab, que les cubre el rostro, vuelven de sus oraciones cruzando el gran patio… y entretenidas van hablando por un teléfono móvil o celular.
Lo cortés no quita lo valiente.
