Picture taken in a ranch in France where the owner used to breed bengals. The kittens and mothers were helped by the dog who took its role as a nanny very seriously, watching over the crazy kittens with love and devotion. Not surprising it fell asleep next to one of the kittens, after an exhausting morning looking after them.

Plenty of energy...this little fellow...so we actually have six Dachshunds! (grin)
Sam is a very lively and happy dog, and over enthusiastic to everything that happens in his life...
He can totally lose control and begin to bark and howl like a mad dog, from pure excitement !
When we go for a hike, he sometimes comes running back to me for a quick hug...so adorable!
Having Sam around is great fun!
