This is it. Aside from the goofy look on my face, I have to say I'm quite pleased. Now, about those improvements for the company costume contest next Friday...
It went so well! I won the deployment and got all my tanks behind size 3 terrain! I got first turn so I pinned his infiltrating las-plas squads! All my drop troops arrived turn 2 without the need for the techpriest's improved comms! The all landed spot on behind his 3 possessed predators!
But then nothing at all happened, and I was promptly massacred 0-20.
I don't know what spurred me to do him in Adeptus Mechanicus colous, but there you go (he now finds a place in my armies as a Techpriest... not a coincidence)
If I ever find a moment with enough care, I'd redo that visor to some degree. But not now, and not any time soon I imagine.
This was a model I got just to add a little bit to my then-fresh Imperial Guard Force.
Painted in typical Mechanicus colours, but with a blue spot colour to break itup and individualise it a little.
That I have no clue what they're from - if they're original or what...
ETA: the very helpful danabren told me below that these are Warhammer 40k costumes with a TechPriest and a Sister of Battle. Huh. I would have never known that, so much thanks to her for letting me in on that :)
